I hope Couture keeps it standing, Toney knocks him into yesterday and Couture never fights again. Keyword being "hope". What will actually happen I have no clue.

If anyone finds a a decent feed post it up here please. I'm hoping for a body shot or an overhand right to end the night. Not that I like Toney and don't like Couture. I just think it's time for him to go and for the UFC to move on.

BJ is really going to want the win. Should make for a great fight.

toney weighed in at 237,thats rediculous,he used to be jr middle, not like he matured to heavyweight,he just ate himself through about 4 weight classes.he is a great fighter but no discipline, only has a punchers chance, and not much if hes fat and slow

I'm a big Toney fan...... It takes a lot of natural ability to be able to not train for 15 years, brag about not training, and still have a hall of fame career.
I know he should have stayed at junior middle, but to be that fat and being competitive against heavyweights says a lot.

I think Dana's using him and his ego to make the UFC look superior to boxing though, and there probably isn't a worse matchup than Couture for Toney's first fight. They say that Toney actually wanted Brock....... UFC offered Kimbo, they settled on Couture.

IMHO Couture stops him in the first round..... Toney is a fing beast in a ring, but against a world class wrestler it won't be pretty.

^^^ After watching the fight I'm thinking it wouldn't have been pretty against a decent wrestler with basic submission skills...what a terrible fight. The UFC isn't winning any fans with that crap.

all couture did was beat a fat middleweight,im a toney fan,but he doesnt represent an in shape top notch boxer.youll never see that unless there is big big money.i do agree boxers only have a punchers chance, but an out of shape middleweight against a solid heavyweight doesnt answer any questions

The question has been answered time after time since UFC 1...... You need to have a solid skill set to be competitive in MMA.
There has not been 1 guy yet who's only skill was striking that got anywhere.

I agree that no prime boxer would fight in the UFC due to the massive difference in the fight purse, but even if you put either Klitchko against Couture it still doesn't last a round.

How did it not answer any questions? If you don't have take-down defence, basic wrestling or BJJ your gonna look stupid like Toney last night.... Klitchko would look equally stupid only he's still making $$$ boxing and probably isn't dumb enough.

Yeah, I never liked him after all the shit he talked before the GSP fight.... then when he lost, he started making excuses and accusations.
Whiny little spoiled bitch.

Pretty bad that it took a washed up overweight boxer to do it though.
He made more than Couture lol...... Sad.
