Looking to buy a used exercise bike but I need your opinions on this bike.
I need a decent bike that won't wobble and just make me not have motivation because it's really a POS.
This is a Free Spirit older model exercise bike. It would be used probably about 5 hours per week.
With my 12 hour shifts i really lost my desire to hit the gym. I no if i had a bike at home i would use it.
Yes or no ? They want 175$ for it

hmm, how long do u wnat to ride it for?
as that seat is gonna kill your ass. 15 minutes on here and your ass will fall asleep or be in pain. if there is a way to change the seat to something more comfy i would go that route.
as for $175 for a upright bike, no way i would pay that. u can buy a cheaper modelt at walmart with a better seat new for that price.
if u have lost the desire to train, i would personally try and find a rowing machine. u gte a cardio workout and some bicep and back work too.

I agree. Offer them 50 bucks or just pick up something new from the store.
the best stationary bikes for long cardio bouts are the ones that are just an upright schwinn or some other non electrical bike.
They have the most comfortable seats and the smoothest ride with very few parts that can break like the shitty electric ones.
I agree with everyone above. $175 is laughable for that ancient bike. Never fails to amaze me how people think their used stuff is worth the same or more than they paid for it new, like it something special.

Thanks for all the replies ...
I decided to go for this
http://www.amazon.com/Schwinn-203-Recumbent-Exercise-Bike/dp/B000E130FW
The lady wants $300 but i can talk her down to 250$. She said it has been used twice and she paid 600$ for it.
Rowing machine is actually a really great idea. Time to start searching.
Thanks again,

she paid 600 for it probably years ago, and she paid likely full price for it. I never pay full price for anything, and I saw a higher version of the posted bike at sears for 300$ new (half price)...I think you can do better.
