I'm currently using Cosco Kaizen Isolate and my trainer has me consuming about 300+g of powdered protein per day... Which is leaving me quite bloated.
I'm considering paying a bit more and switching to a drifferent brand. TP uis at the top of my list and so I'm wondring which of their isolates is the "cleanest"?

300g of protein powder is the equivalent to 12 scoops. At that rate you will be going through a 5lb bucket in 6.5 days. Thats a lot of protein powder but u r a heavy dude and train insane so i dont doubt it works. Just a huge amount is all. Buy a huge bulk amount and save cash...

Aside from the powder... how much protein are you getting from food?

First off any of the isolates are great with no bloat from them.
2nd, what is the reasoning your trainer has you taking 300+g protein from powders? No wonder your not feeling good on them your probably developing an allergy....too much of any food will do this to you. Before I knock down the trainer Id like to know the reasoning for this because its not something I'd do to a client or myself.
Hope you start feeling better soon too!

I'm not gonna post my diet but just skimming over the plan:
*4 whole eggs + 1/2cup egg white
*600g lean meat in 2 meals
*1 serving Biotest Workout Fuel (+15g of TP Pepto Pro) during workout
*1.5 Serving Biotest Recovery PWO
*300g powdered protein in 3 shakes and 4.5L water

I train for and compete in Strongman, I have done about 18 comps over the last 5 yrs. My ultimate goal strength but I don't want to be fat (as most strongmen are).
I have what I call "special nutritional requirements" basiclly I cant consume too many carbs since my lowerback gets too pumped and then I can't lift heavy which for me defeats the purpose of training. This is obviously a combination of my diet and "supplemant" use.
We're basicly trying some different things too see what works, it seems I make best progress on a "cutting" diet... Carbs comming from mostly vegetables except during and post workout.
This year tho I'd like to add 10-15lb lean to my 6' 265lb physique while at the same time getting stronger.

I was following your other posts, good to know... Reminds me of the time a tried the Gemma protein except I last 2-3 shakes before I gave up.

Mr. Meat....thanks for clarifying that for me man, that makes more sense to me now...when I read that I pictured you having like 6 shakes a day, lol. Dividing that into 3 during the day would be good, I've read about guys back in the day mixing up a jug of protein, raw milk and whole cream and drinking it throughout the day to make gains.

100G's of isolate in a single serving is a ton of protein to absorb!

You guys care to explain whats so bad about the beef iso? Was it the taste? texture? bloat? Did it give you guys the runs? etc

Taste texture for me...No bloat....I was using in a blender with other ingredients, it was fine...Then i started on its own in a shaker cup, gross...to me...Thats all, everyone is different...no runs, no bloat....

I just bought 16lbs of chocolate to get the 10% off. I am going to keep it in the blender with some peanut butter to help with the taste.
