Pharm companies disgust me.

Merck, while testing Viox in 2001 found a three fold increase in mortality rates, but continued to market and sell the drug anyway.
Many ppl developed cardiovascular disease, from taking this drug, many others quickly died of heart attack.
Merck decided that because they predicted the instances would be low, they would continue to sell the drug and gain huge profits.

I think we need limits on advertising.

"If you are overweight and suffer from high blood pressure, try doctor recommended exercise". Costs next to nothing and has no side effects except improved self esteem, improved general health, and a new affinity from members of the opposite sex who find your guns attractive".

Amen to that brother! Sadly looks like it's easier to pop some pills and hope they fix the problem.
