I have been reading on other forums that higher does of this stuff like 5-6grams a day actually make a noticable difference in bf levels and that alot of the negative side effects people associate with it are false. But I have also read the exact opposite.
anyone here use this stuff at all to keep fat at bay during a bulk at all?

I didn't notice it doing anything at all when I was taking it, and this was over 2-3 months. Every time I tinker with new supposed fat-loss supplements, I always find myself crawling back to Ephedrine, Caffeine, or ALCAR.

I use CLA.. every day.. i can't say it works better than anything else, because its all i have ever used... but I managed to bulk this off season and hold myself under 12% BF.. which for a girl.. is pretty good

CLA is good for improving insulin sensitivity BUT you need to buy a good brand that has mainly isomers 10, 12 for the benefits (it's opposing isomers will increase insulin resistance). You also need to stick to 1500mg twice daily and run it for 3 months. Personally I noticed more benefits from coupling R-ALA with something called Glyci-Med Forte. Reduced abdominal fat in only a couple weeks without changing anything else. I go for bloodwork at the end of the month so I will compare it with my fasting insulin levels from before.
