If your interested here are the results and new Canadian records. Yes, these numbers arent even close to as impressive as guys that use gear or juice , but I think there is still some great totals in there

That's at least one fun thing about a new federation. There's still a chance to get a record before they get pushed into the stratosphere.

Forsure. I managed to snag the 30-34 Canadian record.

You should come into the next one. Western's is BC , AB, SASK , and Man

You just need to stop using .

... but I like using. I'll likely drop the aas in the next 2-3 years once I get my weight/body composition where I want it but it's another 18-24 months for nandrolone metabolite to clear the body. So I shouldn't be more than 50 by then.

so if I did the CPU nationals raw a couple years ago, and my numbers for all individual and totals are higher, can I be put on the list? Is this yet another federation?

That's why having a canadian record starts to become meaningless..so many new federations. This list looks like simply the results of a meet in alberta 2010.

I'm not familier with the CPU but can't you use wraps ?

I do agree that their is way to many of these federations , but then in another aspect it gives a person more chances to do comps. CPU , GPC and now RAW give you a chance for about 4-6 meets a year if you want.

CPU has one coming up at the end of October in Edmonton if anyone wants to do that.

they don't have Raw...I just did the nationals Raw for fun. I had injuries and the suits actually made it worse on me because the weight was higher. I don't remember the lifts I did...Something like 150 bench, 245 dead, and 195 squat. I was raw as can be without being nude....(but I did have a belt). I weighed in at just under 180. I thought I did pretty good despite injuries tht affect ALL lifts

........

A friend of mine was on the board for the OPA and tried to get a raw division for 3 years and every year they turned it down because raw is not real powerlifting.. now this is what he told me... it might be exaggerated

I started in the GPC and I like it , I like lifting heavy weights , but what does suck ( for myself ) is doing a 600lb squat and getting smoked by someone . Not because of the gear but because of the supplemental factor.

For myself i feel like raw powerlifting is best ( for now ) because the competition will be the closest . Once I do take that next step it will be with GPC ( Independent ) as I already have the shirt , suit , wraps , etc.... and they are a great group of guys.

As a clean lifter this is the fed for me . Call it whatever you want. And once I get my raw numbers where I want them I know my geared numbers will be alot higher than they were.

Near Edmonton , AB.

The thing is there is so many different fed's and it cost money to go into a different one ( membership fees ) for me it's not worth doing more than one or two.

Shoot me off a link or some info on the one that is coming to BC . It's always worth looking into - thanks.
