Amit Sapir 6 weeks out from Detroit Pro 202

Hey guys, 6 weeks out from Detroit, 202. 5'5", weighing about 198 right now. I am 2005-2008 Mr. Israel, and 4th @ European IFBB Championships, 2009. I am a former national team (Israel) olympic lifter. When I sustained an injury in training, I switched to bodybuilding.

Since that time, I've made consistent improvements. I hope those improvements will be good enough to qualify for the O this year at Detroit. I am hoping that if some other competitors are already qualified, that I can earn a spot. If not, I will participate in the world's strongest bodybuilder competition. I hope to win, or at least challenge, in the pound-for-pound competition.

At 215 lbs, I have put up 810 squat, 720 deadlift and 560 bench.

Yeah bro, I am in Canada, in BC. I am here training in prep for Detroit. I will have my citizenship soon. Right now my focus is to do really well in Detroit, so I can attract sponsorship.

I earned my pro card twice. In 2008 Israeli nationals, I won my weight class & overall; and also at 2009 Euro IFBB Champs, I took 4th.
