AntiMalware Doctor virus

Anybody have any experience with this F'in piece of shit virus?

It's on my computer now and it's blocking me from downloading software designed to clean it up!!

then maybe use your anti virus scanner.. Spy bot S&D works whenever i get virus's pretty well.. so does MalWare Bytes (spelling?)

I actually tried the instructions on that link, it worked a bit, got rid of the pop ups, but there are still some remaining issues, like certain websites being blocked (anything that seems to have anything to do with virus removal, Spybot, malwarebytes, etc...)
I did manage to download and install Malwarebytes, but it won't run. Not sure if the virus is blocking it from running or what.

boot in safe-mode
