virus help??

Downloaded an album today and got some ****ed up virus that kept popping up saying I had a trojan horse that was trying to steal my credit card information. A legitimate pc scanner popped up wanting me to provide CC info to obtain software to get rid of virus. Purely bogus. It kept me from accessing anything on my computer. I just started in safe mode and did a system restore to a couple days ago and all seems fine now. Is this virus gone or still around?

PS. How the hell can I get back my garbage pail from my desktop? I deleted it by accident awhile ago and can't find it anymore?

For the trojan download this, update it, then run it: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

Then be double sure and do an online scan here (you have to install an active x program): http://www.eset.com/online-scanner

That should do it for you. :)
