k guys whatta ya think? i think silva is gonna knock him out within 2 rounds! i think anderson is too accurate and will land the right punch at the right time!

I'd like to see the upset too.
Its highly unlikely that Chael is going to be able to ground and pound Silva into submission or win a decision by laying on top of him for 5 rounds.
Silva will either knock him out quick or if Sonnen is able to get him down Silva will find a way too submit him. His ground and pound is wreckless.
I do hope Sonnen lucks out somehow though.

Sonnen is still at the point in his career where he has been improving every fight, i dont care if he wins or loses, i would like to see him win, but i really just want to see someone fight anderson and not run away. Sonnen has been talking a lot of shit and says he is going to be the one to end anderson. To his advantage andersons only weakness is that he can get taken down and tends to stay on his back, im hoping for a real fight either way and hoping for Sonnen to come out the victor. Im saying Chael by tko (ground and pound) or the more likely outcome is silva by KO... either way i dont want to see another decision from anderson. And remember if he is a jackass in the cage, Dana said he's done. Champion or not. Gonna be worth the watch (lets hope)

i agree with everything you wrote knight!
it would be sick if silva goofed off for a round then just demolish him the next round it would really solidify his skill and talent imo.

Good call..... Sonnen is nothing special, just more great marketing by Dana.
I don't think anybody outside the die hards even knew who Sonnen was before the Marquart fight.

i'd love to see it too but i wouldnt bet on it.
Why would Sonnen even have a chance against Silva? Does he have any special skills or superior athleticism that I'm not aware of? Is he being allowed a katana? Let's face it, Silva is the GSP of middleweights and I don't think we've even seen what he's capable of yet.

Sonnen is just a poor mans Dan Henderson, just a hard nosed grinder.
Your right it would take a great fighter to bring out the best in Silva, IMHO every great fighter needs a challenge to be his best.
I don't think Dana will put GSP in with him though, because one of his super heros will lose and might look bad. Maybe once Silva gets a little bit older dana will cash him out like that.............

Shitty but Silva 4 the win!
I hated Sivas antics in the last fight sooooo much. I don't think we'll be seeing anymore of that which is cool.
I can emphathize with him a bit though. It must suck to be fighting and training for guys for a championship belt who are of little threat. I can see it causing frustration anf arrogance on his part. Still no excuse for the behavior. I bet he's learned his lesson though. Its a fanbased sport. We should see him pour on the FAKE humility for a while now while beating people down quick again. lol
I expect him to embrrasse Chael in a nice way. lol

Sylva looks good... at the face off he wouldn't even look at Sonnen.. he crossed his arms and wouldn't even acknowledge him.. it was beautiful...

I thought for sure you were going to be right!
Silva's past lack of performance left me wanting to see Chael win. He certainly worked harder for it than any of Silva's other opponents. I don't mind Sonnen's comedic smack talk, it's obv a ruse to shake Silva and it's funny. He did 99% of what he said he was going to do and took his loss like a man with no excuses. My hat is off to him.
I'm also glad he didn't win, lol. Even though he keeps busy, Chael is a grinder and that can make for some boring championship fights - A la Fitch?
In the end, Anderson has the potential to showcase much more exciting fights than anyone else, I wish he would do it more consistently.
IMO the only winner out of that fight was sonnen. silva took a beating and showed some weakness. sonnen grinding and non stop punches was impressive. i would have been in a heart attack with that attack chael put on
Really good fight. I enjoyed watching him beat on Silva. I feel for the guy. Its gotta be disheartening to lose after winning the whole fight.
