Why do old people feel the need to share there old naked wrinkly grossness with everyone?

Every gym locker room I have ever been in has one thing in common, wrinkly old naked guys who wont put there clothes back on. They get in there, take off all their clothes and hang out. They will try to have conversations with everyone while they just stand there completely nude. Then eventually they will hit the showers, and if your around when they finally get out they will come stand right next to you and chat about something they read in the newspaper while they floss their butt with the towel and powder up. Then, they will just stand their naked not doing anything, just hanging out....

The other day I walk into the locker room and there is this old guy who looks to be in his 80's standing at the sink right in the middle of the locker room, completely nude, shaving his face like its his home bathroom.

I don't think I'm homophobic, but for **** sake if you would like to make any more small talk today, put your damn underwear on, wrap a towel around it, or at least pretend your there to get changed and not just hang out naked with other guys...

Am I alone in this pet peve?

I use to shower at the gym, but now I just go home dirty, then take a shower.

yeah i noticed this a lot too...and there are couches and tvs in the washroom at my gym...they sit on them naked and watch tv and read newspapers at times...im disgusted just telling u guys what ive seen

This all sounds very traumatic. There should be a section for online group therapy where we discuss the "old man balls" and "wrinkled asses" we've all had to blow by in the changeroom.

ya i see this all the time at my gym too. Doesnt really bother me that much, i've seen worse in the shower after hockey back when i played jr. But ya after your shower atleast put underwear on before you socialize. I dont understand the shaving at the gym thing wtf. i used to see guys shaving in the steam bath at my old gym.

What does bother me is guy's going into the Sauna naked, put some shorts on!! this dude yesterday comes into the Sauna with just his towel on, he takes it off to reveal his little weiner then sits down. Well after he leaves you can see where his ass and balls where on the bench facking nasty!!!

actually, one time I was in a steam at a public pool gym in Calgary and this really cute asian girl came up to me and touched my back and was like "nice tattoo" and proceeded to rub down my arm... but that was an isolated steam room incident.. and the rest of what happened was 18+ !:)

LOL.. to be a hundred percent honest.. if there is a hottie... I usually try not to look! I mean, Im gay, it doesn't mean I should make other women uncomfortable.. and if there is another lesbian.. i avoid all eye contact WHATSOEVER!!! Especially if it's some big Bull!! i don't see what the big deal is. It has always been like this... these older guys are from another time period when this practice was totally 100 percent acceptable.. Back then nobody cared about how long their pubic hair was or how big their gut was.. it didn't matter... men worked hard as single providers to put food on the table and there was no time for 'beautification' in the gym.. men went to the gym to relax in the shower and take a steam bath... and socialize... its not like they had these facilities at home unless they were upper class... but then again there were private mens spas for the upper classes. And really this was considered an escape to get away from all the kids and wife at home, and relax for a big and forget about the job...

Today's younger generations have absolutely no clue how it use to be, and really should be thankful.

Now who would want to shower at the gym now... your just asking for athletes foot... or a big shinny new plantar's wart :).

I have flip flops in my gym bag in case I need to shower there. At the old Y in Winnipeg they had one of those fat jiggler machines. I still remember seeing that as a kid.

Try working in a mine or other big industry tradesman stuff.....Theres piss bombs going off, the brain pops out of nowhere, a smokie left over from lunch makes a nice ornament in buddies ass for a chuckle or 2, then some assclown turns off the lights and then you go turn them back on, and theres a wrinkly old knob hanging precisely in front of the switch so you have to hit it on the way by....Then theres always fun time when a NEW GUY starts showering for the first time....Oh yeah baby, gym locker rooms are a walk in the park for this fella....LOLOL, and i left a lot out....Some of the biggest, toughest burliest dudes around, are quite playfull in the shower rooms.....lolol
