I saw the website and thought it was going to be like a computer tracking chip or something. But this is a good idea, are the masons the same thing as the freemasonry?

they had something like this when Kitzi was little here... but i am paranoid of government and didnt want the police to have access to my child's fingerprints! that shit dont change with age... sure sure... "protect children" when they are little, then ID them when they do some petty teenage crime... no way Jose (how do you spell Ho-zay?)

Me personally I'm not overly concerned my daughter will be getting arrested for a crime such as murder where they are looking for her fingerprints lol. Plus these people are not keeping any of the information... it all goes with you on disk when you leave for your OWN safe keeping. So there is no hidden agenda or government conspiracy going on :)

Not something I would be doing. Scares the **** out of me actually. Our freedoms get eroded little by little and the excuse always seems to be that it is to protect the children. Seems like someone is exploiting children to get their way.

well considering none of the stuff is saved on the laptops used to set up the ident kits, and those laptops are owned by private citizens and nothing is sent to the government or AFAIK accessed by the government. This kit is a picture, a set of finger prints, a small DNA sample given directly to you for free it is insurance for the future in case your child is abducted.
You can make one yourself using a an ink pad, 2 index cards, a camera, and piece of hair (including root) if you can in an envelope. If you want add a swab from their mouth, but make sure you get a good solid rub against the cheek lining. Put it in a sealed baggie to protect it from contaimination.
There now you completely control it and if your child goes missing, you can choose to let the police use it.

It is not some much the ID kit that I am opposed to. Yet if my parents gave this to the cops when I was an adult or even a teen to help them convict me I would be pissed, to say the least.

THe thing that really scares me is micro-chipping children. This technology has serious privacy issues attached to it.

microchipping? Umm no, its a bunch of old geezers for the most part taking pictures, fingerprints, and saliva samples in a kit for you to take home. There are no technicians putting microchips in children.

if my parents did that to me when I was younger I'd probably still be in jail. Not given the oppritunity to smarten up and make something of myself.
