Hello Cbb, is there such a thing as an over-the-counter estrogen controller? I supplement daily my protein, creatine, glutamine and vitamins and minerals but can I add something to this mix to help control the estrogen levels in my body? I was told to look for aromatase(sp?) but can you guys mention some product names that are available readily.
Thank you. :yeah

Hi FC, no I've never used AAS, I've been natural all this time. Thing is I just recently lost alot of weight and have some fat left in my chest area. I mentioned this in another post and was told about possibly controlling my estrogen levels. I workout (you can see my training schedule in my sig), I was just wondering if such a product is available readily o-t-c like how I buy my other supps.
Thanks again.

I think my buddy uses a natural product called DIM.
I'll get him to post some info tomorrow.

11-oxo is supposed to control cort at 3 caps per day. It's available OTC in Canada, too, but like all Ergopharm stuff it doesn't come cheap.
Also, if you're really trying to lose weight, maybe consider dropping the Cell Tech, I'm pretty sure that stuff is packed with sugar (like 75 g/serving). Regular Creatine Monohydrate will keep most people pumped enough all by itself... that alone might make a pretty decent difference.

Thanks for 11-oxo, I'll look into it and I'm done with Cell-tech when my tub runs out. :)

11-OXO, DIM, chrysin..I think that these are all supposed to be estrogen inhibitors of sorts.
Another thing, which you'd have to research or look into on your own, would be a fat burner with yohimbine in it. I believe it's supposed to be effective at combating fat deposits at trouble areas such as lower chest, lower midsection, and thighs - normally areas where women have difficulty, so the idea is hitting fat deposits where estrogen may be a key. There's a certain guy with a notable PHYSIQUE who carries fat burners such as this.
This is definitely something you'd have to do some research on. I'm just throwing out some ideas there. I could be full of crap, so you'll have to work on this..you may end up correcting me.

11-oxo is nothing but 225mg of adrenosterone. This is NOT an estrogen inhibitor at all, in fact it's a cortisol reducer with some very mild anabolic properties.
The actual ErgoPharm product you are looking for is 6-oxo. 6-oxo contains 300mg of 4-Etioallocholen-3,6, 17-Trione.
Here is a wikipedia link for you about 4-Etioallocholen-3,6, 17-Trione
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4-Androstene-3,6,17-trione
This should also be sold OTC at your every day supplement store.

You are correct. 11-oxo for cortisol, 6-oxo for estrogen. For some reason, I mis-read the original post as Free asking for a cortisol controller.

No worries. The good news is, a cortisol controller can help reduce body fat. If his problem is not estrogen related and just that annoying fat that never seems to want to go away, 11-oxo might actually help.

This is why I love this forum! :ilu
Thank you all for the great replies. Yeah, I don't know if I got a trouble spot on my lower chest area from my being overweight or a little case of gyno but it's definately gonna get me to work harder to fix it. Like a book I read stated "I'm walking around like an escaped gorilla with my huge chest dangling all over". LOL! ;)
