Hello Cbb, I got an easy question for you all. I recently lost alot of weight, I was over 274 lbs and started my weight loss on Boxing Day Dec 26th 2007 and am now at 238 lbs. I've done this by starting to weight train and watch my caloric intake again + increased my protein intake. I've noticed a big change in my bodies composition and have lost my massive love-handles (YOOHOO!!!) :yeah
Does anyone here know of a good supplement that might help my one remaining trouble-spot. I've noticed that my pectorals are defining very well and I can even move them up and down lol but no matter how many benchpresses I do and I do them well, increasing the resistance as I get stronger, there seems to be a layer of fat in the lower pec areas. Is there a supplement I can take that can burn that fat layer off or what do you folks recommend? I've been taking for close to a month now a fat-burner that seems to work great, like I said above I'm noticing my fat-handles and my spare tire disappear slowly.

Thanks again and on to great health. CBB folks rock! :bday:flagC

Its just going to take time and sustained effort. Sometimes it pays to switch things up, back off any severe dieting for a while, build more muscle, then go back to fat burning mode again. There will always be areas where fat is more stubborn than others. You just don't want to wreck yourself trying to eliminate it.

For me, I have to eliminate breads and starches from my diet to get really lean. Eat only whole foods like fruit and vegetables. I also have to go hungry and lose energy. Its the loss of energy that supplements like ephedrine and caffeine can help me with. If I'm too dragged out to put in a decent workout or run, the ephedrine and cafeine, used occasionally, can help me put in a proper effort.

It could be residual gyno also bro. Continue on your way, and if theres still no improvement maybe consider using a natural anti-estrogen or aromatase inhibitor or something.

That avatar disturbs me, I'm going to have to find one of Mr. Ontario's posts to prevent scarring lol

Thank you all for the replies and suggestions. Yeah I'm happy as punch right now, I hated being obese and completely out of shape. I'll continue on the healthy path and watch my food intake and what I eat.

YOOHOO!

That is AWESOME weight loss for four months. I'm on a similar path now, down to 275 from nearly 3 bills... hope I can come close to your progress from here.

While it seems that the places where my body gains muscles have a pretty close relationship to how I train, the fat loss seems to be out of my control. I just lose where I lose... If I understand correctly, that's normal, it's genetic programming that determines where you gain the fat and where you lose the fat.

I belive that supplements can help accelerate the process once you've got the diet and training down, but I've never belived that they can have an effect on the genetic progression of where you are losing from.

Hi Gordi, grats on the weight loss. I hear what you're saying. It's true about the fat loss being out of your control, my only remaining trouble spot is my chest but I will keep at it. Cardio, progressive weight training, short diets, etc... I'll get lean eventually :hu
