Anyone tried taking Glycerin before a work out to achieve a huge pump?

I read that you take 500mg of glycerin and then for every 10mg of glycerin taken you drink 20 oz of water. This should be done about an hour before your work out.

So here I sit an hour before going to the gym, drinking water like crazy, I'll report back later tonight, let me know if you have any experience with this.

I get some good pumps going when im taking glycerin....I havent tried glycerine alone, i used a few bottles of the LBAs from trueprotein, which are glycerin and beef aminos mixed together....I would take pre and intra workout...Glycerin is a very good hydrator, and many people are lacking in hydration..........I havent tried the load you are talking about, thats a lot of water for me belly to handle all at once, i prefer to do a few servings a day, Spread out....Let us know how it goes, or how many times you puke....:p

I made a typo on my original post, should be 50ml of glycerin and for every 10ml you should down 20oz of water.

Well I tried it, couldn't drink all the water, almost puked, actually would have puked if I didn't quit. Only took in about 30ml of glycerin and 70oz of water (although I did continually drink water while at the gym)

About an hour after my arm workout my tri's still feel pretty hard, not sure if this is because of the glycerin, I usually get a good pump anyways, I'm gonna try this again for a week or 2 and see if I notice any huge changes. I cannot handle all that water at once and am gonna experiment with the dose opf both water and glycerin.

Drinking huge amounts of water all at once can kill you. Something to think about.

Edit: Although you would have to drink a lot more than you are. What's the point of super-hydrating? It seems like a stupid idea.

super hydrating hummm? never really thought about it like that. Actually I'm just looking for "cheaper" alternatives that help get a good pump that's why I thought I'd try the glycerin. I'm still a natural guy so I'm trying to get every advantage I can. (I got the dosage and idea from a powerlifting program.)

Too much water can kill you, yep your right, but obviously I'm not going that far.

Spread it out through the day......Lets use some logic here, your body can only utilize so much water at once, otherwise you will expell it through, mouth, ass, and urine.....Just take it 3 times/day and enjoy the benefits....

Chocolate is great in shakes, and on ice cream, tastes like liquid nestle quick...

Glycerin is available at drug stores, and farm stores, and a number of places....
Liquid beef aminos are available at trueprotein.....Glycerin and amino acid mixture.....
Do a bit of a search on the products Glycerin, and LBA's there is a lot to read....
