I've been doing a weight program for about 8 weeks now, and it says you should eat about (for my weight) 2355 calories, about 25% protein, 45% carbs, 30% fat. I've been noticing though, that ive actually lost about 4 pounds over those 8 weeks. I looked at some other articles and it said if that happens, you should increase the caloric intake, so should I change to 2600 calories, and about 20% fat, 50% carbs and 30% protein? Would more calories, protein and carbs make me look more fatty though, and a six pack would not show, or would it help with showing a six pack?
Thanks
you will not lose weight and gain muscle
it's lose/maintain or lose/lose

Alright so how should I change my nutrition so I add muscle? or should I keep it at the same nutrition, finish the 12 week program, then add some calories, and change it to the 20/50/30? Throughout the 8 weeks so far in the program i started at about 157, then the next week i was down to about 154, then it went back up to like 155, then slowly went down week by week, and got to 150, now im back up to 153, what does this mean?

Alright, so you're suggesting a a 40/40/20 plan? How many calories do you think I should strive for, or should I start at about what im doing now, and add or lower depending on waist size?

read the thread.
I provide some answers on your questions.
I am no expert by the way, just been in the sport long enough seeing many newbies make many mistakes so I wanted to write something simple that they could follow and help them understand the framework to the process of building muscle.

Age does matter in regard to giving good info.......
Youre a young man, you have plenty of time to grow and excell, have fun, dont go to heavy on the weights just yet, but learn your body and again, have fun in life, lots of time for BBing for you...

If I diet down really slowly I can gain muscle while dropping weight (without AAS). It's not ideal for muscle gain or weight loss but it happens. Must be all the whole eggs I've been eating :).
