View Full Version : Almond, peanut, cashew butter 0g of sugar
Anybody have a favourite brand?
I've been through 3 grocery chains, and 6 brands of almond butter, but every single one has 1g of sugar/tablespoon. The thing is, every single ingredient label i've looked at has no added anything (including sugar) JUST almonds, so can i even find such a butter?

bulk barn and I get almond butter
if the ingredients list JUST the nuts and salt take comfort in the fact that's all there is.

Cashew butter could be a serious problem for me. I could gain weight just looking at it.

Safeway makes an unsweetened chocolate almond butter, its thicker than most and so good right off the spoon.... im sure there is some sugar in it but i had to say something, i love that stuff.

I just use the Maranatha brand of Almond butter from Costco. Even if there's minute traces of carbs, I can't pass up the price for the product.
almond butter from costco FTW...find it tastes better than the BulkBarn one
also, glass jar > plastic yogurt cup

yes and it stays fresher longer, although when I do get it, 3 days worth of almond chicken pretty much kills half of it.
