Can you put water jugs in the freezer?

I have a red colemans water jug I use for work. Its like a thermos, can I put it in the freezer open with a little bit of water? Or can these things not be frozen?

I freeze a yogurt container full of water then toss it in in the morning. but i dont see why you couldnt just freeze the jug. Its no different than the freezer beer mugs

I read online that they have like glass insulator or some shit, so I wasnt sure if it would like crack inside or outside...

But Ill just do the yogurt container much easier.
