So, how much actual raw untreated sewage is dumped in local waterways each year? Anyone have an ideas?

I think we all would like to think the answer is nil.

In 2007 Kingston Ontario dumped 87 million liters of raw sewage into Lake Ontario...

Here in Winnipeg, they have mistakes and problems that result in very large quantities of it being dumped into the rivers. So the reality is, though its not their practice to do so, there's little to stop it from happening. No wonder the lakes have gone to hell.

Heres the punch line:

This year already kingston has dumped 345 million liters! they blame it on the increased snow acc.

I'm sorry, I won't go so many times to the washroom. It's the extra protein I'm ingesting, I swear!
