Hello guys and gals,
Just trying to come to terms on what may have happened. I did a shot of TNT into my left delt. After about a week, it is still a bit sore when I massage the area. There is no heat or discolouring at or around the injection area, but I can feel a lump. I injected into the middle head and I am wondering if it was possible that I went into a tendon/ligament?
I have since injected into my right delt with no issues or soreness.

Depending on how lean you are you could have injected to deep. What size pin did you use to shoot it? Also since youve shot tnt before its not likely its the BA/BB level causing the pain... Or you may have knicked a vein coming in or out.

I used a 25g 1''. I am somewhat lean (in different areas). As of today, I'm 235lbs 6'3''. I was thinking that it might be the BA/BB as it was a little painful going in. I could have put it in too quick, maybe the pin shifted? Who knows. I just thought that the oil/compound would have absorbed after a week.
Is it possible to causing swelling in the muscle belly or tendon?

Judging by the pin size its not that because that should be perfect for you considering your size. Every now and again you can get a bad one where i think you were just rough with it or hit a bad spot (scar tissue) and it can swell the muscle and cause a bump. I had a lot of swelling in the delts from one but not an abscess or oil pocket. It isnt always that. It can be inflammation of the muscle which is what usually happens to me.

I had something similar once but in my pec - not delt. Possibly nicking a nerve is causing the pain and delayed recovery. The lump - never did figure out what caused mine - attributed it to hitting a lymph node. It took about 10 to 14 days to go away then as ok.

Well I had a chest workout lastnight with some light arms and shoulders, strength is going up which is fine after 3wks of TNT, but the delt is a little sore, maybe because of the volume of oil/liquid in the delt causing it to stretch?
Also depending on how light from overhead hits my shoulders you can actually see the injection area/swelling.
Might have to go to the doc

How much did you inject? I do up to 2cc's and have done 2.5 with no prob.

I have done 3cc's in the delts before.............years ago. This shot was 1cc. Total mg was 400 (250mg test enanthate and 150mg tren enanthate) so the volume wasn't that much.
I have been massaging the area, placing ice for 15-20 minutes on and off, and taking aspirin which I think is reducing the swelling.
Just was concerned after the work out, but discomfort was probably from the muscle pump and facia stretching
Still no heat or pain from the area.

1 CC with 1" inch pin is generally just fine.
Keeping TNT in solution requires solvents. Usually BB sometimes EO depending on brand. Sometimes that can cause inflammation. Are you having mild discomfort for a day or two in other injection sites as well or was it just this one?
There's lots of reasons for post injection inflammation. This is kind of like playing 20 questions.
The things you need to watch for are fever, radiating redness, swelling, and yes ongoing pain. If you have a reason to suspect infection it's sometimes a good precaution to consider a heavy duty antibiotic like cephlaxen. I've never had an infection but I'm also fairly careful in my process and I filter anything I buy into lab sterilized vials.
I've tried several high dosage tests and mixed blends and they have all been extremely uncomfortable for me. People will chime in with "smooth" and "good to go" but for most people that's mostly bs. High dose oils are appealing from the ugl's because you feel like you are getting more for your money. At least that was my rational.
Inflammation can be a cause of abscessing, scar tissue and it's down right annoying after a while.
My personal conclusion was I was better off with regular dosed aas with a minimum of extra solvents. The results have been significantly more comfortable injections.

Thanks Tiramisu,
Other sites, I feel the initial "sting" of the product and then it usually subsides. What concerned me about this shot was the increase in swelling. I looked like I was trying to compete with Greg Valentino..lol!
I have used some of the higher dosed oils like sustaplex 325, and some of the test 400 blends, but never experience much discomfort like other users have mentioned. I have never got "sus flu", but I hear of people complaining about it all the time.
As I mentioned, I have no heat coming from the area, pain is minimal, I tend only to feel it when I stretch the delts and there is no redness at the site or around the area.
I may consider myself lucky that it was a bad shot, but it has me questioning my current process.
