View Full Version : Site slowing down?

Is it just me or is this site really slow to load lately. A month or so ago the pages loaded instantly, but now it literally takes 4 or 5 seconds. I know it doesn't sound like much, but when running high speed internet and all other sites load fast the lag really becomes noticeable. Is it a bandwidth issue or just my comp? If its bandwidth I'm willing to donate to the cause. Anybody else notice this?
I've noticed it lately as well.

I'm gonna have to throw MP some coin then. How much is a normal donation to a site like this?

I usually donate easily $30 a month....but I guess anything is better then nothing....as I know the site isn't completely paid off yet!

Cool, I think its worth it. Being a student, I don't think I can afford $30/month, but I will contribute something if it means helping to improve the site.

I donate whatever I can whenever I can, usually cpl times/year. If everybody donated $30-40 every 6 months, even that would go along way.

Yes, I'll be moving the site to a virtual dedicated server. It's semi dedicated. More expensive but it'll be worth it in the long run. As soon as I get a chance, it'll be done.

You'll probably take our donations and switch over to using Albertos Premium Hair Blends. :laugh

The contents of that sexy mug does have some value...lol
But I still have to move it. CBB will get much bigger when I'm done with my projects. If it's having trouble now....it will certainly have a lot more staying on this server.
We should be good for a little while though.
