I happen to notice that there are a lot of video blogs out there by lesbians that are taking testosterone sub-q injections (prescribed for pseudo sex-change I presume)

It it easier for a lesbian woman that wants to make herself more masculine to get prescribed testosterone than it is for a man?

I wonder what the criteria is to give a woman testosterone for a sex change? They just ask? (shrug)

Nah man they have to go through lots and lots of hoops and shit. I believe they have to go for therapy for a while (a couple years I think). Its a fairly long process and from what I understand can take a very long time.

Every transgender I have ever met in real life or have seen on tv documentaries started out as a lesbian female and then feebly tried to convert herself into an uglier version with testosterone. I guess maybe they think they will fool someone into believing they are male? (shrug)

I saw a documentary on Nova or CBC about a couple of people going thru this and most of it came down to mental issues and what made them happy. They never really got down to the nitty gritty details or criteria yet they were constantly monitored for test blood levels. All assesments and decisions made by the proffesionals were under close watch. And it was painfully slow.
I think its hard for a healthy average male to get acces to test since you/we will be found normal and healthy by the doc thru testing.
U could ask the doc for some estrogens but I dont think u roll that way ;)

I can't say I understand homosexuality but it only seems odd to me. Wanting to physically remove your genitalia on the other hand and change your sex is full blown wierd.

Not knowing any transexuals personally, I can only really speculate based on what I have heard, which is that they feel male even though their body is female (or vice versa). Like imagine you woke up one day and you had a woman's body... I think there was a movie about this... you'd play with your boobs for a few days and then the novelty will wear off and you will want your male body back. Even though you look female you know in your head that you are male so you would still want to have sex with women... so you're not really a lesbian.

From what i've seen and heard most Transgendered people "knew" they were different from the beggining.. A inmate in BC a few years ago won the right to have his sex change paid via the Department of Justice, i guess it's a right we all have.

As a big homo myself maybe I can clear things up a bit for ya. Chicks who are into chicks are indeed lesbians or dykes. They may look like a dyke or they may look like a hippie chick or just to keep things interesting they may look like sex-crazy porn stars.

But some chicks who are into chicks also think they weren't really women to start with so they take hormones, maybe even have breast removal surgery, maybe even a sex change operation. They call themselves trannies or tranny boys or transsexuals. I think they would agree that it's all pretty weird stuff, definitely more likely to be a movie of the week then most. But people going around saying that is ****ed up shit probably doesn't help the situation one bit and probably adds to the therapy bill big time. So if you have a problem with how much health care $ gets spent on this you probably want to just mind your own business.

Now big homos and fags like me get a little chaffed that you lump trannies and gays and lesbians into the same boat. Ya i read it. It just doesn't make any sense, i felt more "violent" as in angry, depressed, looking for a church steeple to off some people with an AK-47 before i started HRT. Test mellowed me out.

And i should point out that my test levels were through the roof when i had my blood work done, something along the lines of 3,800..
