Hello all,

I have recently signed on with DK and the Canadian Muscle Team.

Stats
Age 31
Height 5"10
Weight 190lbs

I have been working out for about 15 years now and have never really been interested in BBing until joining this site.
I simply worked out, ate reasonably healthy and thought it was good enough to be in decent shape but could never reach that next level of strength, size or conditioning as seen in BBers.

After reading some of the work and dedication it takes to actually step on stage i was amazed and decided this was something i had to experience, i need to know if i have the dedication, the drive, the will to change my body and mind. My goal is to bulk up through the summer and fall and then start a prep to compete in my first contest in May 2011 in Mississauga.

Its been a week since i actually signed on with DK, i wasnt planning on keeping a log but ive got more time on my hands now so i though i would share my progress.

In this first week Ive learned 2 things already.
1) What i thought was enough food to grow was not even close.
2) I was severely over training myself resulting in injuries to my shoulder and hip and had CNS issues where i could just not workout anymore. But now the shoulder and hip are healed up and im back to 100% physically for the first time in a long time so im gonna do this right.

This week has been great so far and i have gained 2lbs and feel a lot better in the gym and out.

Ill try to update as much as possible given my work schedule, and ill try to get some pics up.

Great to have you join us on this ride bro. You'll find a strength you never knew you had in the next year. (and i'm not talking about lifting) It's as much a mental game as it is physical, and i for one think YOU can do this. Let's show them all.

Had a great chest workot today and shoulder is feeling great and had no pain even on DB flyes for the first time in months.
Have taken the volume down and am really concentrating on the muscle and going for full intesity.

Just finished my 7th meal of the day and had to choke down the last little bit.
I thought dieting was hard but eating this much food is no fun either.
Eating enough clean calories to grow is rough but i packed it in.
Just gonna close up shop here at work and head home fore some rest.

Quick update weight is now sitting at 196lbs this am up a total of 7lbs over 2 weeks.

Hit up shoulders today and absolutely killed them by the time i got to the locker room i couldn't lift my arm to unlock my locker lol. Felt great and strength is slowly coming back to where it used to be before the injuries.

197lbs this am feeling great and getting stronger which is an added benefit.

Killed arms today and gonna take Friday off and hit up legs Saturday am.
Had a little pain in my elbows today nothing major but dont want it to get worse so im gonna take some joint supps over the next month or 2 and see if i can keep it under control

Ive got to say the hardest part for me is the eating so far, there are times where i just do not want to eat but i push myself to get it over with and its showing on the scale.
The last meal or 2 of the day are where i struggle the most and feel almost sick by the time im done but i guess thats what you got to do to grow.
