okay so I am for the best trail mix to make ......... or put together . That is healthy and not gonna make me blow up , but would be a great snack. I know trial mix on a whole is not so good for you but I am a combo chick and need sweet and salty so I was wondering what people put in theirs?? any good mixs out there ?

may not be sweet, but unbuttered popcorn is a great snack that is high in fibre and extremely satisfying to munch on. I REALLY like popcorn.

good to have as a snack .....for sure ...............and always on hand.

So anyone have any kind of trial mix's they put together ?
I mix soy nuts and currants , sunflower seeds and almonds, pumkin seeds ...............and mini m&m's ( I think the last part was the best!!)
gotta love the bulk barn :)
so I need some more idea's and probably healthier ones too

Its to easy to get up there in cals and fat from seeds and nuts... best to avoid unless bulking...even then a handful is still a decent sized serving.... cashews are my fav... and dried cranberrys....yummm

ENJOY

Preheat oven to 375

3/4c Reg Oats
1/3c Cheerios
1/3c Grape Nuts
1/2c Salted Nuts of choice
1/4c Sesame Seeds
1/3c Dried Cranberries
3TBSP Veg. Oil
1tsp Vanilla
1tsp Cinnamon
1tsp Splenda
1/4c Sugar Free pancake syrup (I use ED Smith)
Mix dry ingredients. Pour wet over dry, mix. Put on cookie sheet bake for 20-30 min.
Let cool. Break up clumps , Store in air tight container.

(Add Reeces Pieces, smarties, yogurt covered raisins etc)
