Looking for a place to stay - Vancouver.

Greetings Canada's elite;

I will be starting a 7 month work contract in Vancouver in mid July, and am looking for a place to rent. My limit is about 600/month, and I am fairly flexible. Ideally I would like a private suite, but I am up for being flexible in that area as well depending on the circumstances. I work 60+ hours a week, than workout, read, and sleep. So there's no worry about excessive noise or any sort of disturbances.

If anyone is either interesting in renting anything out, or knows of anything that is for rent in my price range; please let me know. It would be highly appreciated.

Update: I've been calling some Motels looking for extended stay discounts. You'd think they would give you a killer deal if you were planning to stay there for a long time, but apparently not.

If anyone has a trailer or garage they are not using and are interested in some extra cash let me know. I just need a place initially until I get a few paychecks where I can afford a damage and rent at the same time. Or if I'm not too much of a hassle, I'm not picky on where I stay. All I need is my futon, (or a bed in a trailer), and the ability to use the bathroom. hah. For cooking my George Foreman grill, my blender and a hotplate is good enough. If I had a car, I'd just stay in that. I looked at storage lockers, but I figured it probably won't end well once they see on security cameras I'm staying there and all the sudden I would be left high and dry.

Off campus housing sites for a college/university are usually a good bet for housing over a fairly wide pricerange (eg. SFU's: http://sfu.myidealhome.com/). Or you could try www.rentbc.com
