Yes, I recieved 100$ dollars.

Because of the HST, my gym fee is going up to $4 dollars.
I guess this means everything else will follow up in pricing.

yes it is because its putting additional tax on things.

-Gasoline jumps from 5% to 13%
-Haircuts are now taxed
-Houses over 400,000 are taxed
-registering your kids for sports is now taxable
-annual heating and hydro bills are expected to rise $225 per year for the average household because of this tax.
-selling a car privately is now taxable at 13% instead of just paying the pst.
-if you plan on dying do it now so you avoid paying the HST for your funeral.

This is just off the top of my head.

when does this HST crap come into effect? I am about to buy a 68 Pontiac Lemans and I didn't know that I would only get taxed on PST before. I swear you have to pay the rest (GST) once you register the car?

its not the left crying afoul. It's anyone who makes a significant amount of money thats crying afoul.

It's a new taxation revenue scheme and that's a problem for me!

lol you're a wannabe teacher right?

trust me when I say you'll change your tune when you become a teacher and suddenly all the liberal policies which support teachers and unions will become the cats meow to you.

Teachers are ****ed if a conservative gov't get into power here in Ontario. I can't wait to hear the cry baby bitching now!

I`m sure everything will get more expensive simply because gasoline goes up. It's another BS tax from the Liberal government that does nothing but tax us more and more. When will it stop? the god damn smart meeters come into affect next year. They will just keep taxing untilt here is no more middle class.

We pay way to much tax...

So much of my work check is taxed, the left over money after taxes I go out and spend on stuff and pay more taxes.

To be honest I think I only get 30% of my pay check, the rest is just taxes...

I don't even want to work, basically my hard earned wages go to some idiot so he can be on welfare for a year, or for welfare over payments, or for the government wasting paper and printer ink, the list can go on and on.

I drive down in front of city hall and the road is filled with potholes and bumps, city has changed in years, has just gotten worse.

If you don't like it, then maybe you should run for public office.

We've been getting ****ed here in Nova Scotia for years now. Jean Creton did away with the GST as promised, but in turn handed us the HST. New name is all. ENJOY!! :D

yea we know even your hand falls asleep.

On a serious note. If the Liberals get voted out next election, it will be on the platform of eliminating the HST. I know the dummycrats won't get in. We are still stinging from the Bob Rae era. Now if we can split from southern Ontario up in the fair north, we can be sure that we will at least be able to control our own resources.
