There is alot of hate flying around other boards about them being old and what not but they are both good fighters and both take a very mental approach to it should be a good fight.
He looks lean around the eyes, don't think it's shopped.

There are a couple more pics up at yahoo sports about how good condition hes in.

Yeah, I'm interested in this fight still.
Often times the best fights are not the best fighters.
Doesn't have to be a title fight to be good thats for sure.
These guys are both hard corp and I expect a knockout.
Who cares if their not top 5 anymore. Should be a good stand up evenly matched fight.
Styles make fights!
Pat Barry and Cro cop should be an awesome stand up war with a knockout as well. Neither of those guys are even top 10 I bet right now.

I agree. Whether conditioning translates into him being a better fighter we don't know but if he HAS stopped all the partying and IS focused on his training again it could be a scary time for the 205 division because chuck without those distractions is STILL a top fighter in my opinion.

^ That seems to be the thing, for fighters it seems like the leaner they are the more disciplined their overall training was and the better they fight.

Only if he is fighting an wrestler.

I don't see the point in being overly lean as a fighter unless you are struggling to stay in your weight class.

He's looking better than ever, but I wouldn't get too excited. How's his defense/chin?
He's looked sloppy in his past few fights.
I'm looking forward to cro cop/ pat barry, though.

Me too. Barry's striking power is nuts... I want him to either knock Cro-Cop out or better yet make him quit with those crazy leg kicks.

I agree with this.

Unless you're in a super heavy class ( UFC is 205-265, Pro Boxing is 199 and up ) its basically about having as much muscle in those 205 pounds as possible. A lean 205 is a lot more powerful than a out of shape 205.
A lot of it too is how much weight you can cut between weigh in and bell time, Chucks probably walking around at 220-225 in the Cage.
Making weight properly is an art, some guys start eating life savers or ice cubes a couple days prior to lose the weight....
IMHO Chuck is shot, and Rich is probably even more shot.
Not many fighters are ever the same after being knocked out hard like they've been. Could be a good fight between them, but they are done against top level guys.

If Chuck stops fighting right now, 10 years from now he MIGHT be able to wipe his own ass.

I agree. Although Franklin's punch was a lucky shot. Just swinging for cover and landed.
The fact he broke his arm and kept rolling is impressive./ I woulda cried uncle! lol

The Ice Man!? Pfft..more like the "old man"!
He was winning that fight until franklin landed that shot with his eyes closed. lol Good fight. I think Chuck should get one more and then quit if he gets knocked out.

Unfortunately I had to witness the entire event from row 19. Danzig got robbed big time on the undercard. The kid from quesnel got ****ed over too. Chuck was ****ed up, he looked like he was in rigor for what seemed a long time. Extensor rigidity, lol. Gross.

That was a really odd KO. There wasn't a lot of power behind the punch at that angle but it was right on the button. Chuck went down hard. Lucky for Franklin though as with the arm injury, he might not have been able to really strike in the next round.
