I am running a low dose cycle to help preserve some lbm during my cut. 350mg prop a week with 40mg var ed. I just got a bad cold, possibly acute bronchitis... flu like symptoms... bad cough, chills, fever, no appetite, etc. Needless to say training is out for the next week or however long it takes me to get better. I just started the var a week or so ago.

Should I continue to take the var while I am sick? Will it be suppressive to the immune system and harder on the body to get better, or is such a low dose actually beneficial while sick in that it will prevent more muscle wasting from occurring while I can't keep much food down?

var is used for aids patients with no immune systems... i say keep @ it, unless theres a $$$ issue

that being said, you will probably get some of your appetite back if you drop the var

tough decision imo

Keep it IMO, i just went through 2 weeks of pneumonia, and 2 weeks of strep throat back to back, kept them at a lower dose, but i kept them in thee, healed fast and back in full swing already...

Damn dude, i am just getting over pneumonia as well..it's terrible, can't sleep, can't do anything strenuous on the cardio aspect. I tried to come to work yesterday and HR sent me home due to my coughing.

I am going to blame YOU!!...enough said.:o

If it's just a cold you only lose a 3 or 4 potential training days when you have a fever. Other than that I don't see a reason to modify training, diet or supplementation.
