a horrible horse rescue with a good end!

My mom and I have been good friends always. I like to suprise my mom sometimes even when i'm so far from home.

My mom knew 2 ponies for sale, she didn't know how they looked like, but she heard from my stepmom they are not well taken care off. My stepdad didnt want her to buy them because she already bought a pony months before.

I knew the person too, I Already been had a bad experience with her, when me and my stepmom decieded to vist the field of her horses and there was a horse sick in it and she was so sick we called the vet and unlucky we had to put her down.. she didnt wanna pay the vet bill either.
My stepmom is friends with her, shes not a bad person. she just has a horrible husband which passed away.. god punished finaly. That was also the reason why lonneke, and winter were for sale.

so i contacted the woman, and bought the horses, payed by internet banking and called my mom. I'm like uh mom i payed them you can pick the ponys up my mom is like your a nutcase haha... but cool!


She was absolutely shocked... the follow pictures are not for people which cant handle animal abuse..

so the black one is winter the brown one with no marks is winter my mom owns those ponys now. this is how the animals lived. the pictures are taken 2 months before my mom bought them I got those pictures from someone i know from a horseboard which sended the animal inspection service after them but nobody did something

So.. My mom and stepdad took em away

Lonneke the mare is so fat because the lack of good food, and people watching their diet that her feet hardly holding it

So everything is okay, except for getting slim Lonneke gets bigger which means She probablyis pregnant...

so i contact the woman which lives next to the field and she said yeah she got pregnant by the stallion which is sold in july

NOTE: The stallion is no mini its a 1000 LBS horse now he was only a yearling.. and broke out of the field in the mini horse field and jumped her

So mom had a problem! Mini pony x big pony = problem especiall because this typ of horse got used to pull tree's in the mountains..so it is a drafthorse!

So mom called birth clinic, and vetenairians in the area. we didnt know a date of labour..

but we have a healthy baby born mare called mystery born on the 16th of may with almost the same size as mom shes healthy and mom does still alive too!

I just wanted to share this story i'm just so sick like spca and what ever they are called in the netherlands aid That they just dont do anything while animals can get lovely homes before they die because the lack of care.

Yeah, we didnt really care if the baby would survive we had not that much expectations after we knew they didnt had allot of foodsource. we kinda expected the baby getting born with problems with growing or anything else

That's great of your family to do that! I am a huge fan of horse's myself, I just rode my first horse in my life this past Saturday actually. I'm impressed with the beauty and strength these animals poses. So are you from the Netherlands?

Yeah. my mom lives in the netherlands too. And I used to live aswell in the Netherlands but i went out on an adventure haha... So i moved to tornto in 2008.

I still own a beautyfull horse in the Netherlands and can't wait to go back! My mom is a huge horsefan ( she's scared to ride mine he's pretty wild haha) but she can;t get enough mini ponies! We always find sad horses.. :s


Once i traded my 4 x Best riding horse of the netherands. 2 times champion europe.. for My lovely horse i have now Because nobody wanted to buy him because he has backproblems and is a bit wilder than the average horse.. so i sold a 15.000 euro worth horse for a horse that was worth not even a 1000 hehe...

But now I trained him for a horse thats allot money worth..and putted allot money in chiropractors and stuff.. swim therapy etc..I got his name tattoo'd on my body too. I love him so much!

Me and Shakir did almost competed on grand prix level. except that i left the netherlands. I left him there because he got awesome people taking care of him which i trust.

Thats so wicked! I love horseriding, well shakir sometimes scares me he's mostly good but sometimes he bolts like crazy haha.I almost broke my neck because of him.. There was a little damage on it but lucky wasnt that bad but he's a 75 % arabian haha
