It was one hell of a weekend... driving up to the Sault the day before the show might not have been the brightest idea... I ended up coming in 4th out of 4, not what I was hoping for but the feedback was pretty consistant... I had a great upper body but need to work my legs... Overall it was good experience doing my 1st show at 38 years old and I am in the best shape of my life... I will take some time and train legs with the same intensity as I train upper body and will come back as a master! I will get some night shots up as soon I get them! My color is much better at night... the people that where supposed to the tanning for me did not show up... My posing also needs alot of work :puff Stay tuned for an update about Metalchick!

Now for the good news... Metalchick rocked the house winning the bikini short class... she will be doing Ontario... I will let her post the details... but I will say that her prep started 7 weeks ago (she will let you know how she decided to do the show)! These photos do not do her justice!!! The feedback was stellar... I am looking forward to seeing her onstage in London :yeah

Congrats to both Andre and Metalchick.

Andre, looking at the competition, I think you should have been in 3rd, maybe with some darker colour 2nd. Some of the definition was hard to tell because you were so light.

Metalchick, was there any doubt that you wouldn't do well?

Now you both can slowly introduce some carbs into the system and watch those muscle pop!

You have great arms, shoulders and back. I think if you bring up your legs especially hamstrings and calves and come in with better color and posing next time you will do some serious damage.

The tanning was a small disaster... the company that was supposed to provide the tanning did not show up... then my backup plan of using a local tanning place fell apart when thier airbrush died while driving up... my color at night was MUCH better as a result of one of the competitors feeling bad for me and giving me thier tanning stuff... I am looking forward to seeing the night photos!

I am 100% to blame for sad posing and lack of wheels :)

I dont know all the placings but there was only one junior also the lightweight. He took both.

In Andre's category it went
1. Chris Muncaster (red trunks)
2. George Koprash (purple Trunks)
3. Bernie ....... (Blue Trunks)
4. Andre (Black Trunks)

Andre won best poser I believe.

Ustice Abram (not sure on spelling won overall and his category was either heavyweight or super and he won that as well) He also won most symetrical.

For Figure a girl from Sudbury took short class and overall. She had a french name not sure of spelling. Maneau or something like that. She looked amazing.

Bikini Tall class winner was Andrianna Grancic.

Andre, when I saw you do the rear lat spread in the picture there, all i could think was "lights out". You were superior in a lot of the upper body poses but I do not think your legs were that far behind the others. Looks like it was a close contest all around.

I think you should go get some pro tan and dream tan and slap that shit on and take some real pics.

This was an amazing experience!! I want to thank Andre for convining me to do this! I was very happy with how I looked on stage, and now just have two more weeks until the Ontarios to get even better!!

I placed first in the bikini short, and it was super close on the overall, they took a long time to decide, and moved us around on stage. I didn't end up getting it, but got alot of great feedback about the show, and heard some disagreement about me not winning the overall.

Going to pick a new bikini colour, and get it custom made, and make sure my colour is perfect for the Ontarios!

Thanks for all the compliments! Its been a crazy 7 weeks prepping for the show, and is looking to be an even crazier next two weeks!!

I seen ya at missisuaga but was to hungry and bitchy to manage to come say hi. LOL. but you looked jacked as hell if i was you id do provincials and see what happens brotha.

Thanks! Standing next to the other light heavies and even heavies I felt pretty jacked! Tanning was one of my issues... I also can't pose for $hit and have the wheels of someone who is 175lbs on the upper body of a 225lbs person... Tanning is an easy fix, posing will take some time and legs will take even more time... Going against stiffer competition at the Ontarios I don't think the Ontarios would be that much different... I know my issues and will address them before stepping on stage again...

Plus I want to focus on helping Metalchick rock the Ontarios :goodluck
