Hey guys, looking for a little advice here.

I found out today that I've got a torn ACL and am being scheduled for surgery within the next month or so hopefully. I'm on week 8 of a cycle (basic test e, 500mg/wk) and the doc told me that *if* I were on anything, it could cause serious complications with the anaesthetic as a result of adrenal gland shutdown. I've stopped my cycle (yesterday will have been my last shot) but clearly anything that's shut down now will likely still be shut down in a month from now.

Has anyone had any experience with this type of scenario? Is it a major issue? Also, does anyone have any thoughts on PCT drugs? I'm trying to decide whether I should start on schedule (in 2wks) or wait until after my surgery to avoid any potential drug interactions.

Thanks in advance,
~D

FYI, current stats:
Age: 24
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 230lbs
BF: ~11-12%

I had hernia surgery while on without any problems Bro. I think my good friend deca also helped to expedite the healing process. That said, I'm not advising you to go back on. If it were me I'd just go through my normal PCT routine. What other options are there really? Good luck. :)

If you are worried about it effecting the anesthesia just ask for a spinal tap. I did that for my knee surgery and got to watch the whole thing going on. I prefer a local to a general anyway as there are more risks with general, and I have bad experiences every time I go with a general.

Not that bad of a surgery, had it done 3 times, don't ask. Make sure you push hard and go all your physio.

Awesome, thanks for the quick responses. That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I had a feeling that my doc might have been over-exaggerating the risks of having gear in my system, and the last thing I wanted to do after telling him multiple times I wasn't on anything was go back and tell him I've been lying this whole time haha.

I'll definitely ask about the spinal tap too. This is my first ever surgery and I wouldn't mind watching it and see what's going on.

Thanks again bros!
