I don't touch anything other than what you mentioned, but I am going to start using some liver support and something for my joints soon.

UPDATE: Just reread the original post.
Glutamine is a great supp to protect those gains you get.

Put me squarely on the fish oil/omega 3 bandwagon. I've also become a big fan of using greens powder instead of multivitamins. Extra magnesium keeps the muscle cramps away, I like that, too.

I never have, but a co-worker swears by it, so I ordered up a ton of it and I'm going to give it a go.

Cool, supposed to protect your muscle gains on those off days. Damn catabolism :(

I'm big on BCAA as of now (and L-Leucine especially). Especially when dieting down. Use it almost every day. But also use the others - whey/casein, multi, flax/fish/olive oils, and presently a fat burner as well.

Glutamine also helps to prevent you from getting sick, helps to prevent catabolism, and aids in protein synthesis to name a few things....Anyways supps I take right now are Vitamin C, E, Iron, Multi-Vitamin, Creatine, Glutamine, BCAA, Whey Protein (pre and post workout), and Glucosamine.

I have always loved ZMA. Been using it for years.

Other than that, I like a good Isolate Concentrate blend, E/C/A Stacks, and a good multivitamin

You can increase the amount of absorption by taking glutamine multiple times a day. Here's what is recommended:

5-10 grams in the morning
10 grams midday
10 grams right before sleep

The important one here is the before sleep dose, we burn like 70-80 calories an hour while we sleep and our bodies will eat muscle if it has too.

What's macadamia nut oil do?

Oh and the solubility of glutamine in water is something like 10g/litre. There might be other solvents which would be suitable, or a suspension, but I have no clue how viable those avenues are.

Either way, oral bioavailability is extremely poor.

I noticed a great pump at 30g's a day.

The key with glutamine is to understand the responsibilities it has. The first 3-5 grams of your glutamine dose will most likely go towards repair of the stomach lining and GIT. This is why cleansing products have some glutamine in it (ie Cleansemore).

I never saw results on glutamine unless it was upwards of 30 grams a day.

I remember when I was younger, I went hunting at the GNC's looking for expiring glutamine to run tests on myself with. Thats how I could actually afford running such high doses. Also keep in mind a 1 Kilo of glutamine was around 75 dollars lol. I dont recommend buying expiring glutamine anymore. It has most likely been on shelves for 3 years and has turned into a rock.
