Agreed they should be signed Bro. Fack, I was looking to find some music to download recently and I can't see one "musician" in the "Top 40" that I want to listen to. I downloaded some Queen though. What happened to skilled musicians practicing their craft for the love of it? Now we get the packaged likes of Lady Gaga, who maybe can sing or not, but uses music for her own twisted agenda, not purity of art. Sigh.

Ya, it's pretty sad what North America (the world?) has come to accept as 'music'. I wonder if Justin Beiber even plays an instrument and how he'd sound without today's ever popular (and overly done) Auto-Tune.


If so, which is debatable, then she should do something useful with her talent. Being a narcissistic attention whore that simply produces what she's told to doesn't qualify as useful.

I would love for her to do something more useful to actually showcase her talent. It's pretty sad when an entire song is written with three or four different chords in a generic fashion. However, the songs she currently has are catchy and appeal to a large crowd. What she's doing brings in a lot of attention and money - probably moreso than she'd be getting from writing/doing anything else.

I'm quite disappointed with Alicia Keys' new album.
