They are all pretty good nowadays, they have to pass safety certifications. The thing with car seats for me is the ease of buckling them in, look at how the seat adjusts as they get bigger as well. Good luck, lots to choose from...oh ya check out consumer reports.
Cheers.

Ya..here is my date... i need a better car seat then one she has now... I find that when she falls asleep on me, that her head falls froward to much. Which cuts off her breathing. We plan a long car trip soon...so I need something more advanced I suppose.

How old is she?
If her head falls fwd then the seat needs to be tilted back a few more degrees, most will be able to do that.
We went with a Graco because it universal for most strollers. Our little guys head would tilt fwd once in a while as well no matter what, you just have to keep a close eye and push it back when you do see it. Or even a thin blanket folded up behind them will also force the neck to keep back a bit.
As for a car seat when he was able to face fwd we went with Britax. Britax is awesome, he seems to enjoy the seat and we purchased from Craigslist, no need to spend $400 new when can get the same one for more than half the price, just check the date on the seat. We got two of the same ones, cow print, lol.

3 months old 11lbs
It's this dam seats in the back of this SUV that don't help either. They already are tilted up on an angle....if you know what I'm talking about.
Thats why I know I need a new car seat as it cheaper then replacing the truck. lol I know the new car seats have some sort of tilt to them?
or I was maybe thinking of taking out the button part of the seat/plat form that used to lock in the seat and just belting in the carrying...not sure how safe that is and if it's against the law or not.

Beautiful little girl Ont.. i am out to lunch on baby car seats these days but Graco usually makes top of the line baby products, check in at a baby "r" us if you haven't already and i'm sure someone can give you an unbiased opinion.
