Introduction

Today I will be starting a 5 week journal of my experience using Pharma Freak's ' Ripped Freak'. For the last 2.5 years all I have used is creatine/whey so any addition of a fat burner has pretty significant effects on me. In the past I have used ECA, various over the counter fat burners and Clen about 5 years ago....thus, it will be interesting to see how this fat burner compares. In the 5 week period I use the product I will be following the same diet, training and cardio plan. Realistic Goal is to lose 5 lbs of fat. I will have the opportunity to use the University Hydrostatic bodyfat composition test weekly, so will be interesting to see what can be done in 5 weeks.

Day 1, May 26- 2010
445am-A.m. Cardio
Woke up to do my morning cardio before work. Took 1 dose Ripped Freak at 445, by 505am I was buzzing and unfortunately felt a little bit nausious. The cardio session went well, tons of energy, my pace on the elliptical was a lot higher than normal. Sweating a ton. I think I will feel better when I take the dose with my pre workout shake on training days. Will be interested to see if I crash hard today mid day around noon.

jeez that never gets old!

I'd say 5lbs of fat is MOOORE than doable in 5 weeks bud even without the product.

Day 2, May 27- 2010
445am-A.m. Cardio
Took 1 dose Ripped Freak upon waking at 445am, again I was feeling it within 15 mins. This time I took it with close to a litre of water and felt no nausiated feelings at all.
Again the cardio session went really well. Did not fatigue, however, the increase sweating was deffinately noticable. When I got off the elliptical and had my breakfast my heart was pounding. Took about 30 mins for my heart to slow down, however, I felt very jittery (even feeling it in my teeth) until about 830-9am. Energy was good up until about 130pm when I felt quite exhausted. I cant wait to bump this up to 2 doses next week. I will be doing my first training session with Ripped Freak on Saturday for Back workout....cant wait

Day 4 May 29th- Saturday
630am Woke up and took 1 Dose ripped freak with my pre workout shake. (1banana, 50 grams WPI , 1tbsp Olive Oil, 1/2 cup(raw) oats). Got to the gym by 8am and I felt very alert and focused. Now on day 4 I can say the jitters have calmed a bit and I did notice by taking the product with food instead of an empty stomach it took about 35-40 mins to kick in. Trained Chest and Calves. All my lifts stayed the same as last week which is good considering I dropped calories about 400ish. When I returned home I was very warm and still sweating after my shower.
One thing I am noticing is that I have a decreased appetite these last 4 days while using Ripped Freak.

Day 5 May 30th- Sunday
630am Woke up and took 1 Dose ripped freak with my pre workout shake. Have to say , being the 5th day, today I felt the least effects of the RippedFreak. However, just because I wasnt feeling the heartbeating or jitters does not mean it was not working. My Back workout was great and the cardio session was a breeze (sweating like a pig). After the workout went and got my Hydrostatic Weight measurement done at the Campus facility. Below are the results compared to last week.

Will be starting 2 doses ripped freak tomorrow. Will also be bumping up cardio to 35mins/day starting June 1st (tuesday)

Day 8 June 1st- Tuesday
Today was the first day of 2 doses of Ripped Freak and man did I need it. I woke up at 545am for a.m. cardio. This week ive bumped my cardio to 35 mins and the extra 5 mins was noticable. Luckily the ripped freak had kicked in about 1/3 of the way through and I was dripping and fired up after I got off the elliptical. From 8am -3pm I taught my classroom and I was pretty much buzzing the whole time. The one draw back is the constant sweating which is getting to be a real problem. Even in shorts and a golf shirt I felt like i was running a fever teh whole day. Took my second dose around 4pm and trained Shoulders at 530pm. Despite the long day I had decent strength and energy. Its now 10pm and IM still buzzing a bit.

Shoulders
Db Lateral Raises 30lbs x15, 30lbsx15, 30lbsx15 dropset 15lbs x20

Day 11 June 4th- Friday
So I am really finding a nice routine with the product. Taking the first dose with my a.m. cardio at 6am. It is really making my cardio easier eventhough ive increased the duration to 35min/session each day. The energy continues until about 1-2pm (which is ideal for my work because I get off at 3pm). At around 3-4 I am taking my next dose which sets me up perfectly for my 5-6pm workout. I am still really noticing that although my 'mind' may be saying im tired or burnt out the body is still amped up, which is allowing me to get through the workouts after a long day. Increased sweating is still occurring yet Im managing to deal with it by bringing a towel almost everywhere I go. I will do some weight measurements tomorrow and next week do the hydrostatic again. Trained arms tonight

Press Downs 4x20,20,15,12
Close Grip 4x15,12,12,8

Day 15 June 8th- Tuesday

Starting Weight : 204lbs
Day 15 Weight: 201

Its now 2 weeks on the new diet and since I started the Ripped Freak. I have cardio running at 35mins/day in the a.m. upon waking. I have been quite exhausted with school/work but I have to say that the product is helping me through the lethargic fatigue. It gives me just enough jump to plug through the cardio and the training sessions. One key thing I notice is unlike all the other over the counter fat burners I have tried and even all the NO2 pre workout products (No Shotgun, Super Pump..etc) its effects arent dissapearing. I am still noticing the heightened alertness, the sweating, the antsy jumpyness and increased energy. All of the negative sides I experienced in the first few days, the nausea/jitters are no longer occuring. I have lost about 4lbs and I will be doing a hydrostatic measurement this weekend.

19 Days in to Ripped Freak Cycle & Diet

Starting Weight: 204 lbs
Today's Weight: 198.8 lbs
Starting Bodyfat (Hydrostatic Machine Measurement): 11.9%
19 Days in Bodyfat (Hydrostatic Machine Measurement): 10.87%

So today my brother and I snuck in to the university's HKin department at 630 am to use the hydrostatic machine. It was very mission impossible-esque.
The reading was exactly where i wanted it down almost 1% bfat in the time I have been using the product and tightened up my diet. I am still using the 2 dose/day system, once before cardio and once before training in the afternoons. I am pretty exhausted when I get to the gym after a full day's work but it is getting me through. My strength has really fallen off the table however, obviously do to increased cardio.
I am not going to make many changes for this upcoming week. I have probably 1.5 weeks left on the product.
