What's the story with HGH?

I've seen the following brands/types:

Ansimone Recombinant
Gentropin
Somatropin
Jintropin

Can someone share with me what the primary differences are?

You are wise in your assumptions! I was really trying to avoid answering this thread BUT I see that there are far too many misconceptions surrounding this topic (HGH).

First off, I believe that everyone has the right to his/her own opinion but when it comes to drugs (pharmaceuticals) and science, opinions not based on facts or solid theories lead to chaos. Although I'm NO HGH guru, I think that being a recreational bodybuilder who has used HGH for the past 6-7 years, coupled with an extensive background in Medical Science and more recently, compounding pharmaceutical prescription drugs, certainly qualifies me to answer this tread and hopefully dismiss all the myths and inject some facts! (sorry for the run-ons)

I've had a legal prescription for HGH for the past 3-4 years and I've used Humatrope, Serostim, Generic pharm HGH, Hygetropin, Getropin, Fitropin and Blue Tops. I would like to add this for perspective:- Take the labels off Serostim's and what do you have? BLUE TOPS!

PLEASE understand that ANYONE can buy vials and crimp blue flip tops on them! I mean C'mon, everyone talks about blue tops like it's a particular brand or something! It's NOT! I've come across Blue tops which contained 191 aa sequenced HGH, some with 192 aa and some which contained HCG! Guess what, they ALL looked the same.

As far as which brand was best! I would have to say that in my opinion, Humatrope was slightly better than all the others BUT I may be biased to it since it was the very first brand I used! All the rest gave equal results except for the Fitropin which was 192 aa.

The biggest difference between the various brands I've used was cost! From $16/iu for Humatrope to $1.50/iu for Hygetropin! I can still legally get any brand of HGH I want but I usually get whatever is the cheapest! For a while, that was the Blue Tops and Hygetropin but lately it has been Getropin! If it's the same product who cares if it's Humatrope or blue tops! (Oh, and this misconception that China doesn't have the "facilities" or "equipment" to produce quality HGH is just that, a misconception)!

When I hear comments like " it takes 10 iu's of X brand to equal 1 iu of Y brand" I am absolutely dumbfounded that any human being with even the slightest bit of common sense would believe such a crock! ANYONE, I'll say that again, ANYONE who thinks he can feel the difference between a 1 or 2 iu difference in HGH, should consider himself a scientific marvel and stand in line for the next Nobel award! Like tinyjuicer eluded to above, 191 aa is 191 aa! The only differences lie in how many iu's are in each vial and how "pure" the fragment is. HGH's "pureness" lies mainly in how it was packaged! Vials which are vacuum sealed will remain "pathogen free" much longer than those which are not but at some point ALL HGH will eventually deteriorate if left long enough! It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to make HGH in a perfect environment, therefore it almost always has some impurities attached to its chain, (remember, HGH is a very fragile and intricate peptide molecule). The most important questions are however; HOW MANY and which types/strains of "impurities" have manifested themselves in the peptide chain.

I hope this clears up SOME of the rumors/misconceptions surrounding HGH quality, brands and their effectiveness!

coverage is great, but unless you have many doctors prescriptions, how the heck are you going to get up to like 10iu a day without buying underground? I had a guy the other day brag about his prescription gh, I didnt say anything to him, but I highly doubt he is able to run enough from his doctor to get decent gains from it. I'm now blasting 30iu every three days and I can finally start to feel some growth, not just fat loss like I did at 2iu/day. This might be a little off topic, but how much gh does a doctor usually prescribe?

Lol, blue tops have a cooling sensation actually. Heh, I have noticed already that my skin is ultra thick, and althogh it seems to be making me hold a good amount of water, I just seem to be getting bigger with no fat gain. I really gotta get some pics up soon. Can't really call them before pics, but close enough I guess.
