its been a while. I used to go by cubanmuscle.. :)
yes I am cuban.
I haven't been doing much logging on any forums. The one I typically frequent is kinda slow right now. I've been lurking and reading up some good stuff so figured I'd come back in. Need some motivation to try to stay on track.
My current goals - after coming off some elbow injuries I decided to stick with training strongman and not so much bodybuilding. A. I have to totally starve for way too long. B. its way too political for me and C. throwing around stuff and smelling like tacky while working really hard is more competitive for me. I have a very competitive spirit but am my own worst opponent.. Is that even a good choice of words? Basically I compete against myself, because I know at any given time someone else will come in and be better or faster but I wanna know I killed myself trying and hit some PRs at any given comp.
SM is a good sport to keep me grounded and I love it so. I have been working with a SM coach at a camp and have hit some nice PRs with a 6 month layoff. My deadlift which went down substantially is now increasing a little every week and I have made some good muscle gains.
ok, maybe I will start a journal here and post some training vids etc. When I have more to share.
