Alright Guys and Gals yet another annoying, constantly updated log here starting from big tav again. LOL!
Background- Began dieting Feb.27 and did a 12 week diet of carb cycling under the supervision, diet, training schedule of Delt King the coach of phyqiue augmentation and contest prep Canadian Muscle Team.

May22-Luchka/Obrien Missisuaga Level 1 show.
Came in at the weigh ins at 193.4lbs and was in the light heavyweight class.
In a competitive class of 8 guys i placed 2nd at the end of the day.

This 2nd place finish qualifies me for the Ontario Provincial Championships in London Ontario on June 19, 2010.

I will again undoubtedly be working with the DELT KING after our amazing finish at the missisuagas. I have 4 weeks until the show and must maintain the muscle i have and try to come in a little tighter, better posing, and see what happens.

Offseason weight-220lbs approx
Contest weight-193.4lbs

I had a cheat day yesterday where i basicly got rid of all my cravings for the junk ive missed for 12 weeks. I feel like shit and am bloated as hell. Not going to even check the scale its just going to piss me off.

This morning i started back on my deit prior to depleting for the show. I wont go into details out of fairness to my coach and mentor but its: Low carbs, fat. High protien. Moderate amount of calories.

Cardio will begin and training will begin again today starting with the legs due to not being able to hit them for a week prior to contest. Training heavy, and strict as possible. Cardio will begin at 30mins PWO and be modified depending on how my body reacts.

My gym is closed today!! Bastards!! so I will be hitting the cardio on my bike tonight and back at teh weights tomorrow to prepare for the Ontario's also.

Alright guys updates are in. Sunday and Monday were some ugly BB days ill tell ya. I skipped the gym sunday to rest up obvs and not to mention was beat ass tired and monday was a holiday.

Yesterday i got back into the gym and smashed legs late night and got in 40 mins of cardio. After that workout im right back on track. Today i hit chest/calves and did 40 mins of cardio again. Im starting to see my lower abs a lot better and with 10L of water a day im flushing out all that sodium from the cheat days. Im currently at about 209-210 morning weight. But i believe by this monday i should be back into my pre depletion condition.

Diet is same as it was 4 weeks out so carbs are relatively low but since i have so much stored shit food from the cheat days im feeling strong and a lot better mentally with all my cravings for junk being satisfied.

Im right on track and ready to take the provincials head on in 3.5 weeks now. Ill keep ya all posted on the weight and changes that occur. Here is a pic of the show my best condition so far.

Another sick back workout today. The abs are back even the lowers. Doing some extra cardio to get back to my lean self. Still about 209 and the cheats really took a toll on me. But im going low carb and doing everything i can so i gotta just keep on trucking and hope for the best.

Gotta get back down to my lean self. Cutting the carb intake a bit today to what we know works for me. The next three or so days should so some significant decrease in fat and water holding. Intense leg workout this morning really gave it all i had. Practicing my posing a bit and in most poses still very good. With this change of pace here i expect the next three days to be tough but very rewarding. Ill keep ya updated on what goes on.

Weight on the way down. Abs and cuts coming back real fast. Im right back where i started 3 weeks out. 20 or so more days left and im pumped again for it. Been training realllll hard and finding a good balance lately with the gf/work/competiton prep. Mentally and physically feeling at the top of my game. Look out Ontarios. CMT top 3 all the way~!!!!!!

Workouts have been going great lately. Lots of strength probobly because of the increased body weight. But def feeling a good pump in the gym and finding cardio manageable. Up to 1h a day cardio now mainly PWO and not loving it but i have to do it. Weight is still relatively high at 209-210 when usually im in the 201-202 range. So im going to have to be even more strict on my diet and make some adjustments to get where i want. Lots of time yet to freak out but have to get that weight down so going protein, and veggies only since sat and continuing until weight comes down if my head can handle it at work.

Bad sleep, dieing for carbs, cardio all night, and hard workouts. But i managed to get back to where i need to despite the agony. Im really excited now that i got the abs back and the cuts. Id say im close to contest shape by next week if i continue this diet/cardio i got going on. Now i gotta find a new posing routine and figure some other shit out.

Glad to see that your weight has dropped back down for you. It is hard after a show to not over indulge but you did a great job to get back into peak condition. That's awesome that you are leaner then 3 weeks out of last contest. You are going to bring it come the 19th for sure. I will be in the audience. Are you planning on staying on the low carb no carb diet from now till the show or what that just to lose the extra weight you gained? Good luck with the new posing routine, it is tough to put something together so quickly but you shouldn't have a problem with your dedication.

Me and DK were thinking see how the weight keeps going then maybe reintroduce some carbs in one meal just to keep me sane. But to me if i had to i could make it the next 2 weeks on none. Maybe not easily. But id say i blasted all the fat off from the rebound so thats 1 step of this process done. Now this prep weve changed some things around now that we know my body a lot better so we will hit my peak at the Ontarios with a combo of condition + fullness. I had to do so much cardio and depletion i find i lacked the fullness i had a 2 weeks out. So if we nail it right on ill do what i want to in this show. As for routine last night i picked a song so im going to do a more well thought out posing routine more slow and better transitions. Less traditonal poses and more new things.

Does anyone know if there is some spray tan available at this show. I refuse to use protan i hate it with a passion. I know SS wont be there now which is a huge disapointment but i need a spray tan no doubt. Anyone have any idea if another booth will be there. Ill pay whatever is way worth it.

Well some much needed updates. I killed the workouts this week everyday at 9pm with DK. We hit each muscle hard and then after work at 6pm i came in for my hour cardio (usually 45min recumbinant bike, 15 treadmill). Today im about 205 morning weight. A bit high but i have raised my sodium intake and my muscles are feeling a lot more full. I can always make weight it just a matter of staying full and being extra lean. Tommarow early me and DK will be training legs insane and doing are cardio. Will be nice to get done early maybe i will have time to go check out that big Red Bull Air Race thing here in Windsor going on this weekend with the gf. Anyways things are def on track thus far.

I actually have a photoshoot for an online publication thing coming up this friday the 11th in Florida. Im flying out at noon friday and hitting some gyms in tampa and some outdoor spots for a photoshoot. Coming back saturday night late. Should be a great oppurtunity and a way to get my name out there. Wish me luck never been down south so maybe ill never wanna leave. hahaha.. thanks for following if anyone is. Its been a long road but the end is def near. Gotta get through 13 more days of fun.

Still killing it and training heavy and hard ED. 2h cardio and keto for the next 9 days. Weight still slightly up but if all goes as planned ill be dialed right in for the Ontarios. Sitting at about 206lbs morning weight and everything is back in contest shape. May have even gained a little more size, and definition in the last few weeks. The occasional slip here and there but diet has been clean and mean. Def beating me up some days more than others. But this Friday im off to Florida for that photoshoot so im pumped as hell cant wait. Then i get back and its the last week time to finish it off. Gonna be a wild ride stay tuned.

Update!

So im done to 205lbs this morning and judging by the posedown we did last night at the gym im going to come in bigger, more full, more vascular and with better posing at the Ontarios. The last 4 weeks have been the toughest so far in my BB career but its all paying off. As i write this im 5 mins from leaving for the airport for my photoshoot in Fort Myers. IF i have computer access ill keep ya all updated on how things are going. As for training we are hittin a few Golds Gyms to crush it and get some sick shots. Weather is supposed to be 95 f' in the shade so im looking forward to it. Well im OFF thanks for following along bros.

Back from my photoshoot in Fort Myers, FL. It was very very hard work posing for 3 days in the hot sun i must have sweat like 10 gallons. Really improved my posing with that much practice and holding poses. The pay was decent, the trip was really fun, and i followed my diet and got my cardio in. One thing that bites bad is Air travel. My first flight out of Detriot was delayed 30 mins and my flight home was cancelled for sat so i had to rebook for twice the price and stay another night and take Delta as Spirit air went on strike *hence the cancellation. So finnaly i touched down today at 530 and when i get off the plane i look so shitty. You really hold water on those things i find. Oh well hit the Golds gym, fort myers beach, and got some serious exposure in BB and modelling industry. Hope it pays off!

On a more seriosu note...4 days till Ontarios. The reason i did all this photoshoot BS. Im lean right now and could probobly drop water and be good on stage. BUT im going to really murder it the last 4 days here and see if i can get slightly more diced in the midsection and a little tighter in the legs. 2 cardio sessions at 1h a day and hard training with DK will do the Job!

3 DAYS OUT OF THE BIGGEST SHOW OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so fricken pumped its unvelievable. I took the week off work and sed screw it. I wanna concentrate on this diet. Gotta lose 3 or 4 more pounds by friday to be perfect for making weight.

2h cardio miniumum. Pro and veggies keto diet. No fats. hardcore workouts ED with DK...

DK we leave this morning at 11am for the biggest show of my BB life! I just want to say that i couldnt have done it without your guidance, motivation, help, and positive outllook. You have taught me not only what it takes to be a better BB but also a better person. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you invested in me and the time you spent helping me train, do hours of cardio, and answer 1000s of texts. Your the man DK and i strongly reccomend anyone who needs a contest prep coach to go with DK. Unbelievable! Lets go do this thing and qualify for the Canadian Nationals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets go CMT lets kick some ass and take no prisoners at the Ontarios in London!

I know its old news by now but i wanted to finish off this log for good.

Placed 5th at the Ontario Provincials in London, Ontario which qualifies me for the CBBF Canadian Nationals until 2011. Weighed in right on the button at 197lbs @5'11'. On stage after carbing i was around 210lbs. At the provincials it was my second peak and it made it very tough to get into condition but i feel like i brought the best package i could. The competition was very good in my light heavyweight class and everyone hit there marks.

Now after a one week rest/eating extravaganza and to get everything healed up i hit the gym today for a good old chest/calves workout. Wow i love my carbs and the pump was absolutly incredible. Weighed in at 227 night time weight after meals so likely in the 220 range.

Moving on i am now training offseason and doing a extreme bulker trying to get up as heavy as i can while maintaining a reasonable BF %, until i cut down a 16 week diet for the 2011 nationals.

I will continue to work with Delt King as he has been the greatest mentor, coach, and friend throughout this entire year. I owe everything to him and his guidance helped me move from a amateur level 1 competitor to a NATIONAL level BB in 1 years time. Unbelievable coach and i couldnt have ever done it without him. I just want to thank him and let everyone know who is doing a transformation, or prep keep DK in mind as he has proved time and time again he can get almost anyone into there best condition, shape!

THANKS CBB FOR FOLLOWING AND THE SUPPORT. YOU GUYS AND GALS ARE THE SHIT AND I COULDNT HAVE STAYED FOCUSED AND ACCOUNTABLE WITHOUT THESE ANNOYING LOGS. LOL :fwave PEACE!

I know this thread is complete but wanted to let every1 know im back into the gym with a vengence and back to the hardcore offseason diet! Weight is up to about 230 and the abs are still good. vascularity, pump, and endurance are all through the roof. this is going to be one hell of an offseason!
