I was watching a program about this woman body builder and she was getting the kind of massage where the masseuse was tearing each muscle away from the one beside it. It looked awfully painfull as she was writhing on the table. Does anyone know if there is a particular name for this kind of massage or have I got it wrong about what she was having done to her? Any info would be appreciated thanks

There is Rolfing, ART, NISA, Structural integration.

They actually release adhesion on the fascia and/or muscle.
I have done ART and SI
Never felt so much pain in my life as when I did SI.
As a result I have tendinitis in both knees CURED, shoulder pain issues solved, improved breathing and posture, more ROM in my rib cage and so on.

Hello Everyone,

I was just reading the boards and saw I few topics that peaked interest that everyone was talking about.

Most of you have seen me in the Video with Fouad while he was in therapy. I currently have a niche in treating bodybuilders around canada and the states. I currently work with over 30 professional bodybuilders and fitness athletes on a weekly basis, and more than 100 amateur. This stuff works, I have seen it take the best bodybuilders to the next level, and it will be seen in a few upcoming shows.

Graston or SASTM both very similar techniques that utilize same princples. ART is a very good modaility that works in conjunction to increase nutrition to the area, increasing blood flow, and breaking down any scar tissue or adhesions.

If anybody has any questions just fire them off to me
