I took 2nd Place in Grand Masters Figure (over 45 yrs old) and 4th in Medium - Talls
At 53 yrs old and I'm thrilled. I was told by judges that my stage presence needs to be more polished and he recognized it was a major transition to move from so many years of bodybuilding to Figure finesse. Another judge says I need to tighten and raise my ass. Ill be a grandma in July. For a g ma I'm thrilled my ass it tiny.

I'm happy with my placings and I'm enjoying a glass of Merlo in my hotel room.

Reinforcements murdered the welterweight class, the other poor guys stood no chance whatsoever. I'm pretty sure we competed in the same show (different classes) together back in 06 and the transformation in the last few years has been significant. Great job! My hat off to you bro :greet

I tried to encourage her to push through, but she's very career oriented and the job and life came first... Im glad she went through with it this year, though... would have been a waste not to capitalize on such an amazing physique... she's also a great person... was very good with my daughter...

Congrats to all the members that represented us so well... you make us all very proud...

YEAHHH im light heavyweight 1st loser. LOL. Couldnt be happier with 2nd place im floored. Was shooting to just make provincials so 2nd was an absolute honor. Was a pretty solid class too.

My buddy Korillon from here got 2nd and he earned it man. Guy had a phenomenal transformation and at a weight class down from me still looked my size if not bigger offstage. Hats off to him.

Also his amazing gf LMBQ did her first show. IMHO the judging and rules set for bikini are absolute nonsense. We as a team did not no what to expect and it was a curveball because the class was about being sexy and ass shaking and not physique at all. LMBQ phsyique was better than 4/5 of those athletes but she would not stoop to that level to fluant and be low class. This part of the show really bummed me out but at least we know what to expect for next time. I just wish bikini rules, suits, and routine was more strictly set up so everyone knows what to expect. NOnetheless LMBQ looked flawless and her suit was perfect.

Hi Oma, welcome to CBB. If you have any questions on how to use the site software, send me a private message by clicking my profile name and send private message. Your private messages (like email on the site) can be navigated to by the top right hand corner of the page.

If you want to change/add pic, you need to click the user cp link on top and then edit profile. In there you are looking to change your avatar, that's the one that shows with your posts. You profile pic is the one that shows when someone navigates to your profile. Two different things.

Good to hear you're being trained by Lou. Stan up guy and well liked. Tell him to drop by and say hi sometime. It's been years.

I keep getting requests for pics and here is where the problem is. The shows are not big enough to generate revenue to send out a photographer and travel to each show. Especially when something like last weekend happened and there were 3 shows.

The real solution to getting shows covered with pics on cbb is to enter agreements with local photographers to cover shows in their area and display the pics on the site with logo's back to the photographer's.

Or maybe look for a way to increase revenue here and send out a photographer or hiring local ones to a show. Would also need to work with the organizations as I would need their help to generate more interest in the industry and not be blocked from show coverage. Lot's of politics when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I more than welcome photographers to display their pics here and put up a logo back to their site. I am not fond of linking away from CBB to go see the pics as that drives traffic away from the site instead of to it. But if that is the only option, it's better than nothing but I watch that closely and make choices on what's best for CBB.

I know the photographers who cover the shows and the work they do. Way out of my budget unfortunately. The do some very nice work and mag style quality.

There is a thread in the news forum on photog's who would like to work with cbb. The offer still stands for anyone who is interested.

And of course, if you have your own pics of the show, by all means, put up em up!!!

Me to kind of, but i will say after being backstage with both, and seeing some of the figure gals nowadays, I believe figure can still at least be a challenge, and produce a decent physique, without having to look like a floozy, or carry to much muscle to place well as a female BBer...I am partial to female bbers as they go through the same challenges as the rest of the folks at the show that day/night...As do the figure girls IMO, but the bikini is to much of a different group to be judged on the same day....

to be honest that isn't that bad imo. I saw some people who looked wayyy worse but I don't know what class that guy was in.

I saw one guy come into the gym alone, looked like he never saw a gym in his life, and lather up the pro tan terribly! I felt bad for him because he must have had a screw loose in his head by the way he was acting. Maybe some of you guys witnessed the same dude.

The thing I don't get with bikini being added is why are the still awarding softer look in figure isn't that what bikini is supposed to be?

I thought the girl in figure tall that was 2nd got robbed overall great body not to much muscle and very lean also very beautiful too.

I think according to her facebook that she was only 1 point off of first. So perhaps it was really close. Her body type to me deserves first place. But perhaps the winner had an edge in stage presence. I wasn't there, so I can't know for sure.

I saw Tim before the show in the morning in the cafeteria. He looked bloody HUGE in his grey t-shirt.

I also saw BigTavi, did not know it was him when I saw him in the gym but now I have seen his new DP and recognize the hair. He looked awesome too!
