I thought it was a pretty good interview, he sounded a little ignorant with the "well I dont see him on any magazine covers comment (referring to the 'natural' lifter).

What really got me is I continued to watch the show after Christian and that natural competitor sounded really smug and condescending.

To understand his response it's probably a good idea to listen to the original interview and remember that he was fired from muscletech for admitting to steroids on the bigger faster stronger documentary.

Poor guy - he has a nation of uneducated morons hating him for what he says and in spite of his courage to stand up and spell the truth he has trouble articulating his thoughts and 1/2 the time winds up putting his foot in his mouth which then just fuels the morons more (the Ben Johnson bandwagon jumpers). But besides that, - way to go Christian. Spell the truth buddy. It is what it is. The media are uneducated bandwagon jumping attention craving morons.

Like he said (or stumbled on saying) there's a difference between use and abuse.

"You look bigger. Is that natural or steroids or...?"
Pretty dumb and redundant question considering Boeving is on HRT. (and Mantell knows this)

Explaining steroid use to uneducated morons is the same as chasing the wind.

i thought he did a decent job. but he gets it, its about being free to choose, not about someone's opinion.

yep. Much easier to just deny AAS usage just like the rest of the juicers that come on Mantell's show.

I like Christian Boeving, if I were captain of any supp company, he`d be on board. He has a great shape and gets the girls. Isn`t that what we all want to look like and do? If I were captain of any supp company, he`d be on board. I`d even encourage him to list everything he uses drugs and supps.

i was so jelous after hearing his stories about ****ing the hottest female fitness models when he was on No BUll Radio. For a guy who has been worshipped for his looks hes not even that egotistical

I respect his interview and his balls to openly admit it.. BUT

In the end, he is an idiot for stating this. His income and future financial wealth depends on his marketability. His market value has most likely dropped big time after admitting the usage.. for what?? ego, pride or a bunch of users themselves respecting him??
You have to remember, the majority of "clients" are deriving income through selling to "regular" people..

What he did is almost as if I walked up to my HR manager and told him that I do rec. drugs on a regular base ( hypothetically, lol)...
yeah, he is standing up for himself.. so what.

that would undermine all of your sales, as no one would be clear what is making him big; your unproven new gadget or steroids. they would all just say its the steroids.

Losing a MuscleTech contract is a pretty darn big deal. He has managed to keep himself visible but has he managed to get work?

Sometimes, and with aas almost always, you are simply better off keeping your mouth shut. While in some sense I applaud him, in another I think he's just poking himself with a stick.

Yes, totally. People rationlize ASS usage but forget that it is still an illegal substance with a very negative, social stigma.

good point Monkey.... it's illegal , yet he speaks obviously of breaking the law...suppose thats not the best way to gain respect.

He's not breaking the law; he has a prescription for it. Although, he did not have one when he started.
Muscletech probably thought he advocated aas use among teens.
