I trained today at the rental storage unit for the first time. I was still a bit sore from the competition on Sunday. I plan on training Thursday evening from 6-8. Anyone interested???

Hi everyone. I'm just a simple father of 2 boys and have a good job working as a grunt in a wharehouse. I'm 34 yrs old and stand just 5'9 and weigh right now at 225lbs. I have a great passion for the sport of strongman to the point that i have started to promote competitions, on top of training and competing. I guess even though i'm simple i lead a pretty busy life.

I am currently training in Port Coquitlam. Yesterday I trained at the Canada Games Pool which had a simming competition, so only the gym was open to a way less fee of only $2.

*I've been practicing flipping 35# plates and recently i started flipping 45's for a few reps with each hand. Flipping 45 pound plates might turn some heads and have people thinking wtf are you doing?....hahahahaha

My work has been screwing with my shifts and so this week i work Tuesday to Friday. Now, usually i get Tuesday-Thursday off so needless to say my training is once again fudged. I train on Tuesday mornings after i drop the oldest off at school and have breakfast with the little one. I am well rested from strongman training on Sunday. However, today i was up at 4:30am and worked in -24 conditions on a freezer forklift for 10hrs. By the time i trained at 7:45pm i was almost ready for bed. No complaints here guys, just giving some insight into my personal shit and sort of why the training is the way it is.
