View Full Version : Tofu Protein Shakes

Hey guys, I've never had tofu before so I bought some the other day at the grocery store. I got some regular stuff and some dessert stuff. I'm just trying to think of what I can do with the regular stuff in the mornings to save me time for breakfast.

I was thinking generically a smoothie concoction :

1 Scoop Whey
1 Cup Berries
1 Cup Skim Milk
3/4 Cup Tofu

I was thinking eggs as well, but I don't really wanna cook eggs and throw them in there, if they were raw I wouldn't care, but is that really beneficial at all ? If it's like 2 eggs ?

every morning i start the day with 2 scoops of vanilla protein, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1 cup frozen berries and 4 whole eggs... put that in all in a blender and enjoy!!

bad idea
tofu is not a great source of nutrition.

Tofu is basically soy...as a male I would avoid it...highly estrogenic.

I've read in a small dose of 40g a day is ok and not an issue for estrogenic sides....would you agree?
