Here are some pics. It was tiring and rewarding. Great people and very appreciative. Even with the poverty there I believe they are a happier people. I got the computer lab up and running and a small village in Uganda now has internet access. The water project is well on its way to completion and when done will be able to store 20,000 litres of clean drinking water for the community. Someone is staying behind to see the project through to completion. I wish that person was me.
The medical team I accompanied saw 400+ people a day. Lots of sad stories there. Mostly due to the fact that children were suffering from easily treatable ailments. The problem is the lack of medical staff, access to medicine, and the $ to buy the medicine even if they knew what to buy. Many were helped.
