I thought I would start here because this is been my main focus of joining this site. I started lifting weights a few months ago and was searching for the best diet to lose weight. Well after scanning over this site and reading endless ideas of the best diet I think I learned something.
I started my diet two weeks ago and was getting discouraged after the first week with no weight loss. I never gave it up and just kept it up at a very strict pace. Well I decided to weigh myself last night and to my amazement I lost 5 pounds in the second week of my diet. I was very proud of myself and this is my first diet ever. I have always been on the stocky size but in the last 10 years very over weight.
I think this is a awesome site and look forward to learning lots from you people.
I have found it very easy to plan my meals and cook for a couple days at once. 25 years ago I did some weight training but very misguided and not disciplined. I plan on leaning down and then build on what I have left over on June 30 if it is a reachable goal.
Any input would be awesome
