So I just found out that Canada customs can seize your supplements if you have over a 90 days supply of a supplement.

Anyone ever have a problem with this? And where do they get off having regs like this. Buy a Kg of creatine or glutamine and they can stop it?

I have some bulk powders coming in and now I am worried.

Yes that`s true. It`s total bullshit if you ask me. Unless they have a guy working there who`s a bodybuilder and understands how much is taken to be a 90 day supply it`s totally ****ing retard law.

I think the main reason is to prevent purchase for resale. Some products require import licenses plus the gov needs to get their hands on all that extra income...

There is not a single 'legal' supplement that is cheaper to purchase from the States than it is in Canada... why would anyone in thier right mind buy supplments from the States?!?! If you it's 'illegal' than it's really stupid as the bigger the shipment the bigger the headaches you will face when the shipment gets seized by customs...

The guy told me l carnitine needed a special liscence.

But for sure now that we have companies in Canada selling bulk stuff, it`s not necessary to order from the US. Some stuff you can`t get here so I make a few exceptions and get them in bulk once in a while. But as the growing list of what`s available in Canada expands (bulk wise), I can see myself no longer needing to order from the US down the road.

Products I get from the US are stuff like nootropics, bulk 11OXO just became available. I`ll be running formestane soon as well, and nobody in Canada sells this stuff.

I spoke on the phone with the people who enforce these laws. Why the hell would they lie to me? I don`t give a **** if you don`t believe me, and saying this is bullshit is just ignorance from your part.

What is ****ed up about this, is that it`s up to the person who`s working that particular day to make the calls. So if your stuff got through, that`s great, dosen`t mean some other stiff will take your stuff.

I've never had an issue either.

I buy lots of supplements at one time from the US . Even with the shipping it's a lot cheaper than what I can get up here in Canada , for this specific product.

I eat my beef the old fashioned way :a+

Honestly, I have never even looked at that... does anyone know of a Canadian company that makes beef isolate?

B5 is something I am looking into...

My package was "reviewed" for about 10 days. Then they said they`re going to release it and send it to me. But then it got held again! So I ended up getting it 3 weeks after it was held twice. After 3 weeks though I called them again. And the guy said the package was out for delivery. 30 seconds after I got off the phone somebody was at my door with sure enough my package.

I don`t have the number anymore. But calling dosen`t speed up the process. It just informs you what`s going on.

I know it's an old thread buuut as I do travel to the US about 2-5 times a month, I can promise you 1: there is a lot more variety in one spot in the states and prices are cheaper depending on the state you are in. I do not ship but I do buy down there. I usually get anywhere from 10$ off to 60$. If you watch the dollar too. Places like Oregon have no tax or Washington that will take off state tax if you prove your Canadian.
