i recently ordered like 8 Animal Pack shirts..the ****ing super badass yellow and red ones, various sizes some to wear in public and some to go the gym with, gave some to my friends.

so ive been rockin them in my gym for a little more than a month...now i have no illusions about how big i am compared to a national sample, but as far as it goes in my gym, im one of the thickest guys (not surprising, there are a whole bunch of people gassing... who you'd never guess are on it).

either way, yesterday, some skinny little ass is wearing a yellow animal shirt... and you can tell its brand ****ing new cause the ink is still a deep deep dark and hasn't been through the wash yet. its a size L

grrrrrrrr i am so ****ing pissed

for the record, this is me after arm day, in a size L animal shirt, 10 lbs ago

LOL fit you're a monster, id have no issues with you rockin that tee if in the unlikeley event we were training at the same place/time..actually id probably go change my shirt ha

yellow: http://www.animalpak.com/store/html/product.cfm?id=349
red: http://www.animalpak.com/store/html/product.cfm?id=348

there is no other colors. also, the shirts shrink a bit in the wash... for training i would buy the 2XL, the XL is a bit restrictive i find, but good for casual wear

anyyyways, back on topic, ive always wanted a animal brand shirt, but i felt like i wasnt big enough to deserve to wear it.... until now. and then this joker comes around with his incredible 100lb cable curl and monster 15" arms

so wtf. are you competing or what??????????????????????????????????????

Get off my back!!!..lol..j/k...

actually bro mid way prep i got shipped all across Canada and Louisiana for work and had to entertain our clients. This involved alot of eating and alcohol drinks being consumed. Very hard to train properly too...It is also pretty hard to close a $3 million dollar deal eating chicken and drinking pop when your customers look at you like you are a crackhead for not partaking. It also involved a nice commission in my pocket closing the deal so it would be stupid not to do everything i could to close it. So I made the choice and had to do the best for my future and job. That was the deal with not competing..trust me i still want to but this is a hobby and not a job. Not one of the people on this board will ever make a living competing. (I said competing, not training, cause i know some of you guys do make a living doing so) The reason i say this is I know Scott Milne very well...if a monster like that can't make a living competing then i am safe to assume that no one else will..imo...

So sorry to let anyone down that was hoping to see the outcome of my efforts...maybe in the future but as of now...summer is here and we all need to enjoy umbrella drinks on patios!

L3, thanks for the info i'll order mine asap.

DUDE, i understand exactly where you are coming from...I had a great offseason, made great gains, hit 260ish and pretty damn hard and then my career put me on hold....12 weeks straight of 12-14 hour days 6-7 days/week and i had to drop out...I did however get a commitment from my company to get me relief for next yr so i can focus on a contest and they are going to bring in some fellas to help take some of my duties as a thanks for putting it on hold this yr.I am lucky i have some coworkers that are competitive athletes in different fields and they knew my pain, especially after a hard working offseason...Career first bro, and then my hobby ...I also felt like i let my trainer down and my friends and family down, but its all good now, it is a tough decision, but we gotta be realistic in life, and as you said its my hobby that i love, but wont pay my bills!!!! So now still 260 and just finishing my big work project and starting again...270 where are you!!!

Not a let down at all. I just wanted to know if you were/did compete or not because I think you got one hell of a physique to do some serious damage and it's ashame that someone at your level hasn't gotten on stage yet.

As for work committments. Totally understand how that goes. Work -> bodybuilding!

Thanks bro...I find being humble is a quality that is often to hard to find. You know, I have been big for a majority of my life (272Lbs at age 18) so i have learned to grow mentally with my body, gradually...being humble and down to earth is a trait I definitely admire. Unfortunately it's the guys that jump on the crank and get a sudden growth spurt that ruin and stereotype guys like you and me with their poor attitudes and demeanor.

to each their own though.

Have a good one!

I may not be a monster like nate or L3, but to me bodybuilding is all about feeling good and healthy not what other people are wearing. Bodybuilding is the best sport there is, no need to get all sex in the city over it. Bodybuilders should be understanding and humble IMHO.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
We all started off as the little awkward guy in the gym, you should be supporting the smaller newer lifters not looking down on them.
Yea your pretty jacked, don't be an ass about it.
