Did you have to reset your password? I tested it and works well for me.

The upgrade was done after a member told me he was being affected by a known bug which was fixed in the 3.8.5 version of the software. That problem is fixed now.

Odd as the upgrade didn't touch the login files or user tables

Now the 4.0 version (the big upgrade) has been a horror show. Some forums have had users locked out as well as the admin. I've upgraded about a dozen sites to vb4 and haven't had any serious issues. Just a lot of little bugs that need to be fixed. Which is why I'm not upgrading cbb yet to the 4.0. But I'm itching to do it as it does have some nice new features. Maybe when the new update comes out I may go ahead and do it if they cleaned out some of the serious glitches.

If it's a re-login problem and not password, clean your cookies out and log back in. It should hold after that.
