I am in a pickle again.

I need some expert advice when it comes to buying a kayak.
I just want to putt around and coast through the water but I have no idea what one is better. If you have some time I would love to hear what you have to say. I'm thinking the 12 foot one would be more stable.

Here's to link to Costco's web site. Can you please tell me which one and why you prefer it?

I'm not familiar with either of those kayaks...Actually i don't know a thing about fresh water kayaking. We kayak on the ocean and they are quite different from what you're looking for...

But basic's: yes the longer ones are a bit more stable. Me weighing in at 220 a 18 foot single worked great. But thats for serious touring..

But for what you're looking for i think the 12ft would be plenty, and either one of those would give ya plenty of fun.
