local internet classifieds @ .50 a pound seem to be about the best bet.
At least that's where I dumped my metal olympic plates when I bought too many bumpers. Retail should be about 1.00 / pound.

So I've managed to get about 300lbs in Weight.

Blinds actually :) so they have cost me nothing so far. I will be getting a 2" whole punched through , then I will sand blast and paint them . Cost should be no more than about $100.

I'm thinking this is a big score . I will just go and pick up some 10,5 and 2.5 plates from the store since those are cheap enough , it's the big guys that cost the big bucks.
